We traveled cross country on the way back to Northern Colorado. This was the most expensive and the most disappointing property we stayed in. The building cannot be up to code. The common hallway has what feels like a hole in it covered by carpet. The bathroom in the room has parts of the wall missing at the bottom. It should be closed and completely remodeled.
This hotel is in very bad repair. Maybe it was nice at one time, maybe it will be again. But in july 2025 it is a rundown motel 6 dump with holes in the wall, doors that don't shut, broken locks, dirty windows, scratched chipped patched paint walls furniture. At bare minimum get a landscaping crew out. The parking lot is overrun with weeds and dead grass. Leaves a lot to be desired at $200 a night. The staff is unkept and the whole experience was laughable.
Many things terrific: 2 sinks, plenty of storage space, nice linens and bath amenities! But WC fan didn't work, patio screen had tear in it and fell off rail. đ
Bathroom was small and had accessibility issues with the way the door swung. The tub/shower drain was clogged. Entrance to the building was dirty, but the room was clean.
The area on the lake and amazing and the ability to walk outside. It seemed they were under renovations though. Pot holes everywhere in the parking lot. Once itâs fixed it will be a great place!
The rooms were okay for what we needed but the place is extremely unkept. Everything is stained and outdated. As long as you stayed in your room it wasnât horrible but as soon as you walked out it made us uneasy.
