Jun 10, 2026Nicely located hotel. The room was spacious and we loved the coffee station (although we would suggest adding coffee whitener to the amenities). Staff was so helpful explaining the details for a stress free stay. She also pointed out several must sees on a map. Would stay here again.

Jun 15, 2026What a nice surprise! We've stayed at the Essence Hotel for only one night, and the stay couldn't be better. The room was spacious, with a very nice view of Firenze. Location was great, only 15 min walking from the Santa Maria Novella train station. And Rafaella, from the front desk, was so lovely with us.

Jun 11, 2026The checkin staff was helpful - provided us a map and recommended us where to go and even where not to go. The hotel has a modern vibe which we love. It is walkable to the center and train station. Wifi was fast which is a plus for my son. The only negative thing is that something seems to be biting my son who has his own bed.

Jul 9, 2026The hotel is about a 15-20 walk to most historical locations in Florence. Our room was large on the fourth floor with a great view. The hotel is mostly like a bed and breakfast as it doesn’t have a main hotel lobby to enter from as the hotel starts on the 3rd and 4th floors. We enjoyed the relaxed location of the hotel as it was across the street from a nice park and bus stops are conveniently close. Our room was cleaned and made up everyday and everything was in working order.
