I’m very pleased with my stay at Candlewood Suites Chester Richmond. Front desk staff is pleasant and helpful. The room is clean, updated, all amenities one could need. The bed is comfortable. I’m traveling alone , senior woman, and feel safe here.

My stay was great I’ve stayed here back in June which prompted my stay this month. I came down from Alabama to Virginia to visit my spouse who’s in military AIT. If only early check in around 12 was possible as I was really tired from the driving but was able to check in early at 2 with the help of front desk

Room was clean but it was not the room we booked, they didnt have the room we booked and said it was changed the day prior to our checking in. Noone has still called me back to make sure I wasnt charged for the king bedroom suite when i got a double bed!!

Not staying again.
Very disappointing. Thermastat unable to be adjusted lower than 68 however the room would not even cool to 68 the temperature stayed between 72-74. Woke up drenched in sweat. Shower only gets lukewarm not matter how hot you try to make it. Otherwise a very clean hotel. Staff seemed to still be in learning mode. Took 4 people to get me registered and that took them 20 minutes to assign me a room when I had a reservation.

To begin we got a hotel room with no view of the outside there was a pillar blocking the window. To continue me and my family got some of the worst sleep imaginable due to the thermostat not going lower the 69 degrees and the ac wasn’t consistent and kept turning off. Another thing is the WiFi didn’t work and there was no connection even when connecting to the WiFi. The staff was not helpful at all there was a lady who said she would bring us a fan and never did and there were two lady’s who where super rude to my mom who came to visit with food and when I walked out to get her after they wouldn’t allow her to my hotel I over heard them talking about her in a rude way. When we got to my room I called down and asked for the manager and she denied me. Overall all this was one of the worst experience at a hotel that I’ve had.
