Ninamu Pearl was perfect for our family. The ocean view room with plunge pool was such a beautiful and unique start to our trip on Tahiti. You definitely need a car for this accommodation as it’s up a steep road, but completely worth it for the view alone.

Serenity with views

This is a delightful, welcoming and serene guest house located high on the hillside above Puna'auia, just south of Papeete, with a view of Moorea in the distance. My only note of caution would be the challenging, sometimes rough and very steep drive to the property but the way is well marked. The breakfast is fantastic and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend for those looking for a quiet, laid back experience.

The property was amazing! Our room was so comfortable and the views were stunning! We were offered an option to store our luggage after checkout the next day. Our flight was still another 14 hrs wait time! We stayed on the property and enjoyed the pool and chairs. The only problem was after mid-day there was no one to offer us waters to buy or any food. To be clear, we had purchased breakfast at the property, and we purchased 2 beers around noon. After that there was just no service through the day. Not even waters. I wish that could have been different since we were outside all day since 11:00 am. The day-room was a great haven since you can shower and dress before going to the airport that night.

We stayed at this location for 8 days in a superior room and enjoyed almost every single moment of it. We would rate the location 10/10. The view is breathtaking! The room design and layout are very well done although the rooms themselves are tired and some things don’t work anymore i.e the lighting in the pool and over the mirror in the bathroom, the waterfall in the pool and the hot tub was dry. Expect hot water only on sunny days. We are all for green energy but no hot water for dishes or showers diminishes the luxury experience the site and room offer. The staff was fabulous and helpful. They offer laundry service with folding for $20 USD. We were hoping to eat breakfast on location during our stay but at USD$30/person we found it too pricey while a short drive to town will give you a $7-10/person breakfast. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would go again. You can’t put a price on that view!

The plunge pool and views from the patio were amazing. It would have been nice to have toilet and shower inside unit and not outside with pool and patio. Also the barn doors to the bathroom area were not lockable so we did not feel our belongings were completely secure in our absence. Also these doors were not sealed so we dealt with a lot of mosquitoes.

Absolutely beautiful relaxing property for our last night waiting on a late flight. The pool and room was very clean. Cool air conditioning. They even packed our dinner to go that we ordered. The only issue we had was our little rental car had trouble getting up the steep drive up the mountain. The view at the top was Absolutely worth it. Parking was tight not a big deal. Loved this hotel, wish we would've had more time to stay longer.
