The lodge is set on a beautiful coffee plantation. The lodge was spacious, clean and surrounded by nature. The fresh coffee in the room was delicious.

Room was clean and spacious. Fully surrounded by nature, even though it lacked any sort of “view” (facing directly into the woods). We saw loads of agouti and a whole pack of 20+ coatis rolled through before dusk. Lots of birds too. Only downsides of the room were open bathroom (no door, just “around the corner”) and the traffic noise was very loud with a major road located right behind our unit (Tucán). The dirt bikes and semi trucks are relentless - not really the fault of the hotel but must be mentioned for light sleepers.
Our was friendly upon check-in and gave us a rolling cart to help get luggage up the semi-steep rock driveway to our unit. They also started breakfast early for us the next morning because we had a 645am shuttle pickup - very thoughtful!

Gorgeous room and views! Loved the trails and being able to see tucans. Big, comfy beds and delicious breakfast. Would recommend!

Very nice family owned property with cabins in good condition and breakfast included. They don’t push for tours and you are free to choose your own tour company. There were bugs in the bedrooms and on the bed which we had to clear but that is expected in a eco resort in the mountains surrounded by woods.
The bathroom was very spacious and nice. Only issue was the hot and cold water was not mixing well and only producing luke warm water

Während unserer Rundreise wählten wir die Tityra Lodge als Unterkunft in Monteverde.
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Es ist eine etwas kleinere Unterkunft, dafür bieten sie alles. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend vorhanden, es kommt sofort Nachschub und es wird sich um alles gekümmert.
Für einen Ausflug brauchten wir früher das Frühstück, auch das war kein Problem.
Sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft!

Wir hatten die Cappuccino Lodge, die wirklich sehr sauber & gepflegt war. Das Bett war groß & sehr bequem mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht. Morgens hat sogar ein kleiner Tukan an unsere Glasfenster geklopft. Generell konnten wir von unserer Lodge aus viele Tiere beobachten! Wirklich ein einmaliges Erlebnis!
