When you leave room you need to remove a card that turns off all electricity which is inconvenient for air conditioning is hot when u get back from outside. By the way you only get the one card key. Even if we stayed at 2bed apt requested a 2n key they say only one allowed.

I wish it close more close to the city centre cause that’s where everything was. I should’ve done better research but the overall stay was nice. It’s about a 15 minute walk to the beach. Ubers are cheap in the area to the city centre and the food in the area was great! They have their own version of door dash so feel free to find out what app that is if you feel like ordering in. Our view was a bit of a catfish considering they’re building a new condo complex right outside our balcony so they definitely need to update the pictures on the east side of the building so people aren’t tricked. The space was very clean and the washing machine was helpful. They should provide detergent for it at least for the towels and all. The rooftop is often quiet in the evening but lovely views as well.

The experience at Martinique was average. Upon arrival the Check In Agents were inattentive, not welcoming. The noise at night from the other apartments was loud even throughout the night. As stated it was ok apartment physically. On 3rd day lost all internet and it took 3 days of lack of communication to get contact with local property agent. Do not contact Expedia booking agents there is a reference on local property agent who finally sent a local technician to get internet back on. Tv was also restored. The traffic is very congested in Cartagena. Taxis are available but it is very bumper to bumper driving culture. Grocery stores are available but use USD on credit card. Average trip it is safe if you stay in safe areas. Cartagena is interesting but not a resort area level of even Mexico level facility. Columbia It is a financially struggling country. The local people that you meet are friendly.
