Lovely Room in Florence

We had a very comfortable stay in Florence. Our only small complaint is that it was confusing to enter the property, but once we figured it out, the rest was perfect. Very clean and beautiful room, super comfortable, looked recently remodeled and well kept. Convenient location , a great place to stay in Florence.

Fiquei no quarto 3, tamanho muito bom para 2 pessoas, muito limpo, cama muito boa, banheiro muito bom. Funcionários disponíveis on line, tive uma pequena dificuldade na 1a vez para abrir a porta e rapidamente fui atendida e me orientaram.

Incredible location in the heart of Florence, it’s like an old building in which a floor has been transformed into hotel rooms. Beautiful decor, incredible design. I wish the AC was working properly to give a 5 stars. The weather was so hot and the AC didn’t cool enough.

This was the perfect place to stay in Florence. Close to the train station and walking distance to many of the places we wanted to visit. Alessio helped us so much! From holding our luggage until the time to check in, to giving us suggestions for places to eat and even helping us to get our luggage to the apartment. We are very grateful to him and to all the staff from the sister hotel near by that showed great hospitality towards us. The apartment is beautiful and clean and jus like the pictures. We will come back!

With the exception to the check-in, everything was great! The instructions were not crystal clear and they don’t have a reception, so finding the right gate (left side of the cafeteria in the corner) was tricky as it didn’t have any sign as well. After we’ve learned how it works and where it was everything else was great. The room is in a self serve style inside of an apartment with other rooms from this stay, but it still felt super secure and private. We didn’t hear any kind of noise as well. The stay is super close to the station and drives a great experience around.

Was ok

Whilst the place had some pros (very clean, comfortable, close the the station). There were a few reasons this place didn't work for me. The check in system means there is no where to store your bags if you are early or want to explore the city before you leave. The room we stayed in had no mirror apart from one in a dark bathroom so had to do my make up in the dark. The pictured kitchen is a communal one and has nothing kitchen like in it. As we found out when looking for cutlery after a long day at work.

Bene ma non benissimo

Appartamento vicino alla stazione e a due passi dal centro. Purtroppo appena entrato nella struttura abbiamo avvertito un fortissimo odore di vernice/acetone che abbiamo poi riscontrato anche nella camera. Nonostante abbiamo tenuto aperta la finestra, questo è rimasto. Abbiamo quindi cercato di restare il meno possibile nella stanza, ma il sonno è stato alterato da questo odore. In più, la mattina uno scarafaggio di circa 5cm è sbucato dalla doccia camminando per terra e sulla porta. Siamo riusciti a ucciderlo. Però… Bella struttura ma consiglio una migliore areazione e disinfestazione.

This place is extremely difficult to contact. They rarely respond to questions through Hotels.com, and I have never once been able to reach them by phone. Before my stay, I specifically asked whether housekeeping had fixed hours because I needed to work during the day and usually went out in the afternoon. I was clearly told that there was no set housekeeping schedule. However, in reality, I placed the “make the room” tag outside at 2 PM, and when I returned later, the room had still not been cleaned. I also needed fresh towels, but there was absolutely no way to contact the host through any channel. There is a shared coffee machine, but it does not work. In addition, on the final night, there was an unexplained beeping noise coming from a closet in the hallway that continued throughout the entire night, making it impossible to sleep properly. Then, around 8 AM on the day of checkout, the fire alarm suddenly went off and woke everyone up. Another guest contacted the host through WhatsApp, and someone came to turn off the malfunctioning device. That was the very first time I learned that communication through WhatsApp was even possible. Until then, I had never been informed that such a contact method existed.
