Great hotel right in the heart of the city center. Had to park about 1 blocks away and the hotel is located on a busy square but the perfect location outweighs the small negatives.

Location is everything. You're close to the river, restaurants and sites. Rooms are clean, Wifi is strong, beds are comfortable and they provide all the toiletries you will need. Breakfast had many options and the service was top notch. Reception was open 24 hours and staff very helpful and knowledgable. You will love this place, highly recommended. The area is vibrant and safe.

Great location along the vibrant Douro river. Newly remodeled hotel (would benefit from some shelves or drawers in room), great breakfast. Very quiet. Don't be put off by the unique entrance and connects to this hotel. You will like!

Nice quaint hotel, tough to get to by taxi but location is key. You’re right in the thick of things, easy to walk around the area - have to go thru the restaurant to get to reception, a bit convoluted but still a cool hotel. Breakfast was great with many options to choose from, room pretty tiny but comfortable-overall, we liked the hotel, was worth the little bit of hassle to stay there - also, hotel staff can call a taxi for you and pick you up in front of the restaurant so easy to grab a taxi when you need to go somewhere

kind, helpful, excellent personel. very clean rooms. very delicious breakfast. especially so kind waiter at restaurant.
on other hand, not easy to reach to hotel. parking fee and minibar payments are not kind or appropriate for this kind of concept. because it is already hard to stay there, no easy parking, small rooms and a good amount of price but you have to pay for everything as if they are previlages....so..personel and location very good but unfortunately hotel administration approach is not.
