A lovely hotel, lovely people, centrally located. Excellent breakfast. Be aware if you have a room facing the street, the noise and music at night could be a problem for some. We were aware of the possible noise so we took our ear plugs and all went well!

We were very happy about everything with the hotel, but the club next door was noisy with music. But we did know about that beforehand and brought with us very good Loop earplugs, plus the balcony helped too as well as the heavy blackout curtains. So the music didn´t keep us awake at night. The location is ideal. There´s an M&S minutes away. Alexander and her colleague were so helpful. Breakfast couldn´t be better and the room was kept beautifully clean.

We stayed in 401 our room was so cute! Beautifully decorated and super clean and comfortable. We had a nice balcony with a private Jacuzzi. The breakfast was cooked to order eggs with a nice brunch buffet. Check in was great, a gentleman was there to help us upon arrival which isn't typical but was so helpful. We highly recommend King Charles Boutique!

Check on was unusually difficult. Luckily there was someone on reception. You are supposed to receive an email with a booking reference but I never received one. You're supposed to self check in. If the staff wasn't there I'd have been unable to get in. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was terrible. The main issue is the noise from the night club next door. Literally thumping music until 3 am. Avoid

Shops, pubs & restaurants are just outside the hotel. The only issue was the noise at night due to the music coming from the pub until late. Staff are nice. Very close to Upper Barrakka where the saluting battery was located, also the ferry to Gozo. All buses are accessible going to different places like Sliema, Malta Airport, St Julians etc are 5mins to walk from the hotel.

The room was very nice and breakfast was good. The lady who served the breakfast was very helpful and hardworking. We really appreciated what she did. The very big drawback about this hotel is the terrible problem of the noise from the bar next door. I have never stayed in a hotel in which even with earplugs it was hard to sleep due to the relentless pounding of the bass from the bar's music system till very late into the night. Potential guests need to be warned about this.

We loved the hotel & the central location. It’s on a very busy street that’s full of restaurants and bars. There’s loud music that is muted by the doors and windows except Friday night when we could hear a little music, but it was fine. Every employee we had contact with was helpful & very polite. Hotel location 10/10 Breakfast and cleanliness 10/10 Noise from the club underneath -100/10 The location of the hotel is on strait street which is this gorgeous part of Valletta but at the same time also the noisiest street with loud music playing until 2 am. We stayed on the first floor with balcony facing the street and the whole floor would vibrate from 7pm to 2 am nonstop. No amount of windows and doors help it. Everything else in the room was perfect but with no sleep on vacation it’s hard to enjoy yourself.
