A very stylish restaurant with rooms with a nice little bar to boot. We enjoyed our one night stay in one of the smaller rooms. The bed was fabulous. Quality linen and such a comfortable mattress. In fact everything was top quality and the room had all you could need, including a nip of whiskey each if you like it. We also appreciated the free water and the pay for mini bar but would have liked some sugar free drinks. Your traditional biscuits on the tea tray might also have been nice. My husband thoroughly enjoyed dinner but if you’re like me and have dietary restrictions, the menu’s very limited. The only main I could have was the veggie one - rattatouille that night - and I’m sorry, but I refuse to pay £24 for some veggies in a tomato sauce. I had to resort to having only a starter and dessert. The dessert, st clement crème brûlée was very good though.
