Apr 16, 2026Hot tub didn’t work and the pool wasn’t ready, but it was Easter weekend and stormy/early for seasonal. The room was so spacious and very nice. I was honestly not expecting it to be so nice! For the price it was well worth it and we will absolutely be returning! The lake view was awesome in the mornings and what little fishing I did do was nice to do just out on the lawn. Very quiet and peaceful!

Feb 15, 2026Room was cute, and comfortable, kinda musty, but it was nice outside so we just left the doors open.None of the kitchen outlets worked so that was kinda a bummer. I lived the little patios they had. They did charge our card without explanation so that is working on being removed i hope. Other than that itcwas ok.

Apr 12, 2026This is probably the worse room I have ever rented through Expedia. The first room that they gave us was not fit for human habitation! When we asked for our money back they moved us to a nicer one but not great. We did stay but will never go back.

May 6, 2026I am from San Diego CA, and I have been a supervisor for places similar to this just spread out in different communities. I loved it here. It was quite, staff was super nice and friendly. It was clean. I would say just more detailed cleaning if anything needed. It is in need of touch ups. But that is pricey. If you are looking for relaxing and are not picky about every little detail then this place is perfect. If you are looking for Booshie go somewhere else. The price was great. The staff was very accommodating even with my day late arrival. They responded to every email I sent them. They are dog friendly. And I even got a free room upgrade to my surprise. If I ever come back to this area I will be staying here. Thank you to the Lodge staff for making my visit to Texas so welcoming, easy and relaxing.
One more thing. The home made inf book was the best.
