I travel to Norfolk often for work and will not be staying anywhere else after experiencing Cumberland Resort. Tima and her team are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The villas are perfectly maintained and spotlessly clean. Lovely modern kitchen and BBQ on the deck if you get sick of eating out.

Had a two bedroom two bathroom Villa. Good as we could do our own breakfast and lunches. Plenty of room with outdoor alfresco as well. Close to town - five minute walk. No air conditioning had ceiling fans in bedrooms. Needed one in lounge room. Staff were excellent very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I loved the resort and what they provided in the units . Temar was amazing treating us like long lost family. our only complaint was that our unit was not serviced we ha to ask for a linen change as it was so hot we were sweating in bed so the sheets and towels were very manky. plus we were on holidays and still had to sweep the floors wipe over the floors as well what they provided in the unit was amazing we just would have liked our unit at least serviced teicw during our weeks stay.

Still a great place to stay in Norfolk!
Norfolk Island is a lovely, quaint place to visit and the Cumberland Resort and Spa is a perfect base to see the Island from. It's a short walk into the heart of town so you don't need a car if you don't want to, but a car is available and included in your accommodation costs if you'd like to explore more (and you should!). You just need to pay insurance costs. The accommodation itself is very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff are amazing. Rael, Tima and the team are extremely welcoming and helpful and will go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable.

Everything you need
We stayed at Cumberland for 7 nights as a family of four. The resort was chosen for its location & price & we were not disappointed with either. The centre of "town" is at your doorstep, with cafes, supermarket, liquor store and shopping just down the road. A car is provided for your use, which is essential on Norfolk as there is no public transport. Being right in the centre of the island, anywhere you wish to go is never more than 5 minutes away.
