We stayed at Royal Suites when we first arrived in Split then again upon our departure. Staff is top notch. There is no elevator, but staff assisted us with our luggage, so it was no problem at all, Breakfast is superb and we enjoyed having full tummies to begin our day!! We highly recommend this hotel - it is not within the walls, but so close by it is just a walk away to many attractions. The area of the hotel is less crowded and noisy. We would definitely stay at this property again.

A good hotel in a convenient location. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Breakfast selection is pretty limited, but the option to get freshly made pancakes and omelette makes up for it. Biggest con for us was the lack of soundproofing, you can hear all the conversations from the reception if your room happens to be near it. Overall we had a good stay!

You need to stay here at The Royal suites. Not only is it impeccably clean, near to plenty of restaurants, grocery store and the Riva Promenade it is really the staff that makes this place the very best in the business. From Antonio and Dewey at the front desk and Marija in the breakfast room they all will make you feel like you are living at your favorite aunt’s house who indulges you your every whim. And even Tony the owner jumped in to help us when our bus to Dubrovnik got delayed by two hours and he arranged a private car to take us at the very last minute. It is truly the people that makes a hotel into a guest house and you will not go wrong by staying here. And you will definitely enjoy the fresh made breakfast by Marija. Happy travels!!

Location of the hotel was less than a 10 minute walk from the harbour in Spit and all the restaurants and pickup points for daily excursions. The staff were very customer focused. Antonio, in particular, went out of his way to ensure guests were comfortable. He had helpful suggestions for dining and activities in the area. I highly recommend this hotel
