Wonderful first time in CR and could not have chosen a better place. The staff were AMAZING and we experienced so much in the little community right there! Love this place and would recommend to anyone who asks!!!

Slice of paradise

We loved our stay, the intimate atmosphere of the hotel and prime location. It felt like an all inclusive resort and the staff was very helpful in recommending tours and restaurants and activities nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was full of trees and plants and wildlife so nice. The food was good and the staff were excellent. The local bus could be caught nearby to the National Park or Quopos for under £1 and was frequent. Outside the hotel we saw sloth with baby and Tucans in the trees. Downside was that outside there were only occasionally places to walk down the road no footpaths so we chose restaurants close by during the day and taxi at night. I would go back to this hotel loved it. There is a small supermarket next door which was handy. Saw many iguana’s in the hotel plus monkeys and a leemar visiting so lovely to see

Disappointing

We booked this hotel because we had been here 3 years ago, and liked it. Unfortunately, it has deteriorated markedly, and now needs very extensive renovation and much better maintenance. Beds are old, hard, and very uncomfortable, furniture is beat up, water pressure and temperature are erratic, and AC can't keep up with heat load. There are hazardous, uneven walkways and stairs without railings. Pool is too shallow to swim. Landscaping has been neglected. The restaurant, which was previously excellent, is now substandard for the area. Repairs are not done professionally...for example, the sink had been repaired without a trap, allowing sewer gas to enter the room. We had to keep water in the sink at all times to prevent noxious odors. I DO want to compliment the STAFF, who were very nice, and did their best to make us comfortable, but this old, run-down hotel is no longer an acceptable value. There are much better options in Manuel Antonio.

🌿✨ Just spent an unforgettable getaway at The Falls Resort! The bungalows nestled in the rainforest offered the perfect escape. 🏡🌳 The infinity pool was truly divine—nothing beats soaking in luxury while surrounded by nature. 💦🌺 I could listen to the sounds of the rainforest forever. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. 🌟🌍 Highly recommend this oasis for anyone seeking tranquility and beauty! #TheFallsResort #RainforestRetreat #ParadiseFound #NatureLovers #TravelGoals

Good location, has all basic necessities and beautiful rainforest garden, however the property and rooms are a bit run down and outdated. Fine for a basic stay.

We loved the jungle-like setting of the hotel! It was so beautiful & our French doors with gorgeous wood blinds opened up to our patio where we could sit out & enjoy the sounds & the animals. We weren't able to book consecutive nights in one room during our stay so we changed rooms after 2 nights. The staff carried our luggage to the next room & took care of everything and it was seamlessly done by 10am. Michael had changed the settings on our smart tv in our first room so it was in English. The room for our next 3 nights did not have a smart tv and the management offered to install a brand new tv so we could watch Netflix at night! The staff were all so kind and greeted us by name whenever we passed by. Elmer was a chef & Emilie was one of the servers and bartender. Happy hour by the pool was wonderful!! We have already reserved our room for January of 2026!!!

It was literally in a jungle! So lovely!!! The restaurant was wonderful & the free breakfast very delicious. Huevo Rancheros was my favorite! We were never able to get fruit at breakfast when we went 1 hour before it closed. The early birds took them all:( The staff helped us get our luggage to our room & get the tv to English. We had two bookings so needed to change rooms. They took care of everything & when we moved to a room that didn't have a smart tv they said they would put one in the following morning!! They made us feel very special as we were celebrating our 50TH wedding anniversary on this trip. Monica & Michael & Johnasy & Alexandro & Lizzy were all so friendly & called us by name....and I'm sorry not to have names if all the staff that were so great.

Wonderful hotel, good food, great setting

Set amidst a gorgeous tropical garden, this hotel will charm you with its spacious rooms and lush landscaping. The hotel restaurant (Medusa) is Peruvian-inspired and serves an excellent complimentary breakfast with menu selections. The hotel has an eco-friendly policy of changing towels only if the guest puts them on the floor. The only minor sour note was that the cleaning staff didn't understand the policy, and changed the towels daily.

We enjoyed our stay there. The check in was easy and friendly. The breakfast had many options and was good. On a day we had an early tour we could ask for an early breakfast which was so nice. The patio on the room was great and the gardens beautiful!! The best part was the location of the hotel which was close to the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park. We could hear the howler monkeys in the mornings.

This hotel was lovely, located off the main road into Manuel Antonio National Reserve yet secluded and quiet. The pool was lovely, the restaurant called Medusa had 5 star cuisine. We stayed 3 nights and the staff Alexandro, Andres, Daniella, Monica, Emily, Lissette and Yami were always kind and so accommodating, whether it was providing us with an early breakfast because we had an early tour, helping us book a tour or waiting on us at the restaurant, they all were willing to help us.

The street side of the resort hides all of the charm and comfort we experienced inside. The nice pool and patio area surrounded by tropical plants and trees was nice for relaxing around. Our room was quite comfortable with a large bed and plenty of space. The small table and chairs outside of the room, an under a ceiling fan, was great for evening and morning birdwatching ( monkeys too!). The breakfasts were very generous and tasty and the lunch and dinner menu gave plenty of options. We will stay again if visiting Manuel Antonio.
