Had a really great time! Loved being right by the beach. Great beach view and local places. Could take ubers to do a bunch of stuff. Breakfast is great. Pool is enormous. Water is a little cold. Highly recommend.

While my room was a bit musty smelling, it was very comfortable and had ocean front views and a balcony. The pool was amazing and the free breakfast was very good. I also dined at the restaurant and cafe and both were very good and had ocean views. Great beach location if you’re looking to just relax. There are a few good restaurants nearby.

The children room is without window. I found dark spot on on child’s beadhead (vomit, coffee?) as well as dark spot in the toilet. The front door was dirty (as from pictures) We booked for 5, only got 4 towels, thankfully we had personal ones. The parents’ room had separate beds. Our room was located near a machine (outside the room) which kept working the whole night and did not let us sleep. The children refuse to sleep in their own beds as they were scared by the noise. In addition, the fridge is not closed in a cupboard so it kept doing noises the whole night. The ventilation in the bathroom brought in bas smells. The whole room was outdates, very motel style, not at all a 4 stars standards. The dinner as well the breakfast was average, breakfast products quite industrial. We raised the complaints to the management the very next morning after our first night as we realised most of the issue after 10pm. we asked for a partial reimboursement (3 nights over 5) but the manager refused. we decided to leave the hotel in any case as the hotel was horrible

Arribas Sintra Hotel is on a gorgeous strip of the Atlantic coast with scenic cliffs and crashing waves full of surfers. The view is made more dramatic by the 100 mg salt water pool that makes this property one of a kind. In addition to the glamorous views, service here is top notch, with excellent on-site food options and attentive staff.

The pool really is as big as it looks!
Fantastic hotel - clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and evening meals, and a truly amazing pool - it really is as big as it looks - 100m long! The hotel is located on a lovely clean beach which is great for surfing, and is not far from Sintra - easy car drive, or a bus stops close to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.
