Mar 9, 2026I stayed at the Chesscom more than 5 times. They have the guesthouse, the hotel and the apartment options. Last Feb 22 was the first time I ordered a breakfast. It exceeded my expectations due to the rich breakfast. Thank you for always exceeding hospitality.

Sep 5, 2026Excellent location for Budapest Airport. The 200E bus from Kőbánya-Kispest (KöKi transport hub and large shopping mall) takes around 25 minutes to the airport. From the metro, you can walk entirely indoors through the terminal and shopping mall, with only about 3 minutes outside to reach the guest house. There is a restaurant on the corner, and food outlets at the terminal were already open at 5:30am.
Reception is open 24 hours, check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and polite. Parking is available.
We stayed in a compact room with three single beds, three chairs and a wardrobe. One bed is against the wall and there is minimal space between the beds, so luggage space is limited. The bathroom is also compact.
Very clean. Good shower pressure, excellent air conditioning and blackout curtains. There is also a large mirror in the small entrance hall and a coffee station (kettle) and a mini fridge.
Breakfast starts at 7am, so we left too early to try it.
The only downside was the safe. We couldn’t get it to work and were told three times that someone would come in “a few minutes”. After waiting around 30 minutes, we had to leave for an appointment. If we had simply been told it would take longer, we wouldn’t have waited.

Oct 28, 2025Arrived late. Warm welcome. Nice clean modern room. Only downside was the bed was slightly uncomfortable. Other than that an excellent stay! Having stayed in the main hotel several times before I’d have no hesitation in choosing the guesthouse again.
