"Hotel Vellir staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Receptionist in the evening of 6/8/25 was FANTASTIC and exceptional at her job with recommendations and assistance. Convenient location to get to the airport the next AM. Gym was the best gym we’ve ever been to.
The only thing I would change was this was the least eco-friendly place we stayed in Iceland. Would have been nice to have a recycling bin in hotel room. No microwave or fridge available in room."
"Got delayed on our flight in so really only got to spend a couple hours here. but the shower was great and the beds were just what my partner and i needed "
"Everything was good at the hotel. The only complaint I would have is that there is no air conditioning and I had to open the window to get some air circulation."
Aurora Hotel at Reykjavik-Keflavik Airport Terminal KEF

"The hotel is a 3 minute walk from the airport, so very convenient for travelling. However, if you want to go shopping, site-seeing etc, not the hotel for you. That said, great staff, great breakfast offered, all in all an excellent hotel for travellers."
