Jul 1, 2026Hotel Toki was the perfect hotel for our stay in Tokyo. The location in Ueno was great - quiet, but a short walk from shopping, restaurants and the subway station. I loved the modern look of the property, and the lobby smelled like a fancy spa! The room had everything you could need, and was more like a little apartment. I would definitely recommend staying there, and would visit again if I an staying in Tokyo!

Jun 11, 2026This hotel is on par! They do not offer cleaning service everyday but they have rules for guests to follow to help maintain the rooms clean. They also have a kitchen and laundry access in the rooms which was a big help. If you need anything, there’s always a staff in the main lobby to help. Also, close location to trains. We will recommend this hotel to others and plan to rebook if we visit again.

Mar 27, 2026Staff friendly, easy check in and check out process. The room was spacious, nice kitchenette, laundry in unit with air dryer. Took a while to understand how to use the dryer which is in the shower room. i think they need to change the flooring, as it was coming out a bit, and the color scheme made it look stained and dirty. Other than that good stay

Dec 15, 2025Everything was fantastic. Literally nothing to complain about. Rooms and bathroom were big for Japan hotel standards, and you will find everything you need in the room itself (e.g. big fridge, washing machine, microwave, shower room with heater blower to keep the shower room warm during bathing and also has function to dry washed clothes overnight effectively, etc.). Room was clean and nicely furnished. Staffs were friendly and responsive to help needed. Highly recommended.

Dec 12, 2025Wonderful and memorable stay!
We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! Our room was very clean, comfortable, and impressively spacious. The beds were big enough for our family of four, which made our stay even more comfortable. It had a TV, as well as a dining and kitchen area with a refrigerator, and although we didn’t use the stove and washing machine, it was great having them available. The bathroom was another highlight, featuring a bathtub and a separate shower area—perfect for relaxing after a long day out.
The location was excellent and very convenient, very close to Ueno train stations, which made getting around incredibly easy. The staff were fantastic—very friendly, helpful, and able to speak English, which made everything so much easier. It was truly a memorable stay on our first trip to Japan, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Highly recommend, and we’ll surely be back soon!

Nov 23, 2025Excellent location that’s so convenient to Ueno Station. The surrounding area is fantastic, lots of food and shopping options. The room is spacious for four people. The washing machine is great to have. Never heard any noise from any other guests. Very clean with a great kitchen and nice staff. I’d definitely stay there again.
