Had a great sleep in a comfortable, clean room and a fantastic breakfast in the morning. Wonderful experience all around.

He is an intelligent and thoughtful host who is able and willing to engage in a variety of conversations. Moreover, the inn is situated perfectly for enjoying Acadia National Park without having to deal with the crowds at Bar Harbor. I highly recommend it.

He also cooks an outstanding breakfast before to set out to tour all the areas within a short drive. Highly recommended you stay here.

Sep 23, 2025We love staying at older B&Bs. We stayed in the 1820s part of the building. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Views of and proximity to the ocean are fantastic! We ate seven breakfasts there and all were wonderful. Ben puts a new twist on common food that makes it unique and a pleasure to eat.

Kind, courteous and helpful are the top 3 words that come to mind, but there are many others that could be used to describe the excellent service. The inn is situated at the head of a small bay and the beach and rocks are a pleasure to walk or just sit and enjoy he view. We highly recommend the his quiet, quaint and quality place to visit.

Sep 28, 2025We arrived after dark and were a bit skeptical of the place but once we met with Dan, we were glad we chose the place. Our room was neat and cozy with an excellent view of the ocean and the sound of waves splashing against the shore. Dan made us a special vegetarian breakfast both days which was excellent. He really cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make them feel special😊

Ben was extremely charming and educational made us feel extremely welcome and as if we were part of the family, the grounds are beautiful. The view of the sea is gorgeous. They prepared a delicious home-cooked breakfast that included fresh blueberry pancakes, eggs and juice all served in a beautiful dining room overlooking the water if you’re ever in the area this is the place to stay my husband and I will definitely be back and enjoy this beautiful inn.
