Mediocre

No hot water in the bathroom. The hot food at breakfast was cold and there was very little (3 rashers of cold bacon) for later comers. The coffee from a machine was undrinkable. The orange juice was poor.

Overnight in Corfu

Wonderful service and relaxed atmosphere. Nice location tucked away but still close to the marina. The owner personally greeted us and was onsite most of our stay. He even helped us transport luggage when the taxi wouldn’t allow luggage on the back seat. One strange thing was that you have to bring your own towel for the pool. You are not allowed to use any of the hotel towels. The bed was very firm.

For the town of Gouvia, this hotel was very nice. My relatives were staying at another around the corner, and Maltezos was nicer. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel staff and owners were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was good with fresh bread, eggs, sausage/bacon, canned fruit, pastries, and the BEST yogurt. We ate breakfast in the pool area, which overlooks a grassy area with a small play structure for kids. The location was convenient to the marina, restaurants, etc. It’s a block from the sea and pebble beach, but I’d look elsewhere if you want a beach vacation. This town is small, quaint, quiet, and comfortable.

Budżetowy hotel w Gouvia - dobry wybór!

Rodzinny hotel od trzech pokoleń. Założył go dziadek z Malty :) tyle historii. Ma swoje lata, ale wszędzie jest ekstremalnie czysto. Niezbyt wygodne łóżka, niestety. Śniadania wliczone w cenę pokoju - są, ale kiepskiej jakości. Niestety, w pokoju brakuje czajnika, nie da się również o niego poprosić w recepcji. Plus za moskitiery w oknie.

Καθαρό δωμάτιο, σε αρκετά καλή τοποθεσία. Πολύ κοντά η παραλία, στάση λεωφορείου και πάρα πολλά restaurants, bars και καταστήματα. Στα αρνητικά του ότι είχε αρκετή υγρασία το δωμάτιο με κλειστά τα παράθυρα και ανοιχτό το air-condition με αποτέλεσμα να έχει και μία περίεργη μυρωδιά. Τα μαξιλάρια δεν ήταν καλής ποιότητας.

Op zich redelijk hotel, wel last van lawaai van de doorgaande verkeersweg en van het licht van de lamp die de hele nacht op de gang aan staat.Dichtbij de bushalte naar Corfu-town, dichtbij de restaurantjes en Gouvia strand.Redelijk ontbijt, heerlijke griekse yoghurt, helaas geen vers fruit...Heerlijk zwembad.Het gevoel écht welkom te zijn ontbrak.

Abzocke in der Jugendherberge

Wir wussten, dass wir kein Nobelhotel gebucht hatten, allerdings war es so billig auch wieder nicht. Der Besitzer informierte uns bei der Anreise was alles verboten war und entließ uns dann in unsere ca. 8 qm kleine Kemenate - incl. Bad. Anfang September war es schon sehr kühl, als Decke hatten wir zu Zweit EIN Bettlaken , das Bett war ca. 1,30 m breit. Das Bad spottete jeder Beschreibung was die Sauberkeit und Größe betraf. Zum Frühstück gab es eine Blechkanne voll "Kaffee" und Tee, war es alle gab es nichts mehr. Der Orangensaft war Sirup mit Wasser, die Cornflakes waren alt, Kuchen und Kekse sind nicht nach mitteleuropäischem Geschmack. Das Größte war jedoch dass der Besitzer uns sagte dass wir nicht früher auschecken könnten da wir ja einen "Special Price " bezahlt hätten. Als wir auf eigene Kosten eine Alternative gesucht haben war unser Zimmer aber sofort wieder besetzt und der Wirt hat noch einmal kassiert. Geht niemals in dieses Hotel!!!!

Hyggeligt hotel

Vi var på hotellet en uge i starten af august 2014. Vi blev modtaget klokken 02:30 med et smil trods hotelmanageren lå og sov. Vi fik hurtigt vores værelse, hvor den eneste klage var det lille badeværelse. Den eneste anden klage har været morgenmaden, som blot bestod af hvidt brød med lidt pålæg og morgenmadsprodukter. Derudover er poolen rigtig lækker og stranden er små 3 minutter væk på fod. Alt i alt en rigtig positiv oplevelse med service i top.

Clean & comfy!

Having spent our fortnight holiday in a villa in the north-west of the island we chose to spend our final day in Corfu town; therefore We booked our room as a stop off to enable us to have somewhere to freshen up prior to our flight home. We were met with a very warm & friendly welcome. The proprietor was very helpful & didn't mind that we'd booked a single room & 3 of us were using it & that we weren't staying the night. The hotel is very clean & has a homely feeling about it. It's a 10min drive to Corfu Town & 20mins to the airport both very easy to find (more or less a straight road to both) The Gouvia area has a small number of shops & restaurants & a picturesque bay.
