Room was impeccable, staff very friendly, bed and linens cozy, and the rooftop poo was a haven. Fri and Sat night music from the bar across the street was VERY loud but stopped at midnight—bring your earplugs and a vacation attitude and you’ll live being in the thick of it in lively Playa del Carmen, one block from beautiful Playa Mamitas beach, and in easy reach of everything you need. Bonus—Trattoria del Centro is just up the street and has the best Italian food and atmosphere in town!

Fantastic room, spacious and nice view. Great service and really nice pool area. However it was lacking a bit when it came to communication and information, also the gym could use an upgrade. Also the bathroom had an awful smell sometimes, despite all this we would stay again.

this is a brand new hotel, everything are in mind condition.. beautiful space beautiful decor and very simple and minimalistic .. hotel is in a great location 1 block from 5th ave and 1 block from the ocean and the famous mamitas beach club.. staff was excellent , breakfast was good with some good choices .. pool is on the roof and has amazing views .. this is a small hotel maybe 30 rooms but exactly what you need if you are visiting g playa del carmen..

This hotel is very new and is going through its growing moments which we see as an opportunity. We have loved our stay - the beds are actual queen which we appreciate. Love the rooftop pool. The rooms are so spacious and big and modern. The people truly make this place wonderful. Can’t wait to see them do well and grow. We will certainly be back

The room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Air con was great and obviously being a brand new hotel also didn’t have that odd air con smell you can sometimes get in hotels.
Benjamin on reception was exceptional . He was so helpful and gave us all the best tips on where the locals eat away from the strip.
The location could not be more central . Literally right by 5th Avenue walking distance to everywhere and right near the beach.
The only reason we didn’t give 5 stars was due to a few little touches that we feel were missing - breakfast (which wasn’t included ) we decided to try breakfast at the hotel but waited a while , ordered and then 15 min later a staff member came over to say they couldn’t make it and would have to order something else (was yoghurt and granola ) and my husbands dish was completely different to what was on the menu . We had to wait so long that he was so hungry he just ate it. Our cofffees took around 30min to arrive and mine was also not what I ordered . We understand though as we don’t speak very good Spanish that maybe it was our fault and maybe some things were lost in translation.
We did feel a bit uncomfortable when we were then pressurised into leaving a big tip. I know tipping is customary but given the experience it just seemed odd to be pressurised into tipping over the average .
Aside from this , we really enjoyed our time at the hotel - it is so clean and fresh and tastefully decorated . Pool area small but nice .

The hotel did not appear ready to be open to the public. Upon arrival on our first day, there was a strong acidic, chemical-like odor throughout the hallway. This smell created an unpleasant environment and raised concerns regarding air quality and guest safety.
We also experienced repeated and ongoing problems with our room keys. Both keys were frequently deactivated, requiring us to visit the reception desk multiple times to have them reactivated. This was extremely inconvenient and disruptive, especially during urgent situations when my husband needed immediate access to the room.
In addition, the hotel was falsely advertised as having a jacuzzi/hot tub. While the area clearly had visible jets, the jacuzzi was not functioning at all. When we asked staff about this, we were told that there was no hot tub available, which directly contradicted the advertised amenities and was very misleading.
Other issues further reflected the hotel’s lack of readiness: construction workers were still on-site during our stay, there were no trash bins in our room until we requested one, and in one of the two rooms I booked, a ceiling LED light fell down. Although this was reported to the front desk, it was never repaired during our four-night stay.
I would like to acknowledge that the staff were generally friendly and polite, especially a young man working as one of the baristas, whose kindness stood out despite these circumstances.
