This is a lovely hotel in a central but quiet area. Lots of cafes/restaurants in the street but not noisy at night. Stephanie who helped us check in was amazing and very kind. Air conditioning, clean, lovely balcony- I recommend this hotel!

Good location. The bus stop to and from the airport using the fast and 6 Euro airport shuttle bus is only six minutes away and the bus seems to have been running within 5 minutes of the scheduled time. Pretty good location for reaching the tourist heart of Palermo with four corners about 16 minutes walk away. Make sure you eat the lobster pasta dish at Enomis for 30 Euros on Victor Emanuel one or two minutes away from Maqueda. This room had good Wi-Fi and a decent sized shower. There was no breakfast or laundry.
