I had a wonderful stay at The Lodge in Winchelsea. The room was large, clean and with lovely views of the courtyard and surrounding countryside. The breakfast was included which was fantastic and it really was a feast with everything you could want for breakfast. Staff were really friendly and with free parking and a great price, what more could you want? Thank you to all at the Lodge.

Shower head holder is broken and you need to hold it manually! Room is next to the road and is very noisy with traffic noise. Breakfast is good with fresh fruits. There is no air con and no fans to lend to customers when we asked.

Only odd thing was that children couldn’t serve themselves from the breakfast buffet, so parental are busy going up and down instead. Also would recommend putting an electric car charger in the parking. Nice fish pond
