The hotel is fine. The location is excellent and convenient. Despite having a WhatsApp help dispatch that was helpful and efficient it’s not the same as having a reception stand with a human being and service at the hotel. That way facilities and any need guest might have could have been better kept.

A basic but comfortable room. There was a TV, kettle and coffee maker in the room. We were on the fifth floor at the back the view was nice and not too close to other buildings of the same height. Perfectly located for visiting the local museums and parks and just strolling round taking in the culture. Staff were very helpful when there was an issue with the TV not working. I used the WhatsApp messaging service and they replied quickly.

I recently stayed at Bob W Kensington, and the property has the makings of a truly elegant boutique hotel. Its location in central London is excellent, with easy access to wonderful restaurants, shopping, and transportation routes, making it a very convenient base for exploring the city. That said, the property still seems to be in a transitional phase. Perhaps because it is a newly acquired location that has not yet been fully assimilated into the brand, several amenities and services advertised in the booking were not currently available during my stay. Additionally, while the staff were friendly and polite, they were quite scarce and often difficult to find when assistance was needed. With a bit more operational polish and the full rollout of its advertised offerings, the property has the potential to become a lovely boutique destination in Kensington.

The only good thing is location. Everything else really bad. They gave me room in the attic where was 38 C during the day and 35 C in the night. After I asked for a new room, they put me on the ground floor, window facing air condition fans outside that blew air directly in the room (if you dare to open it). They have no staff, it's only whatsapp with a robot.

This would have been the perfect base if not for a couple of things. Firstly the door code I was sent after booking did not work so I had to call to get another code. Unfortunately the tv wouldn’t come on & again had to call for help as no WiFi code on wall as stated there would be. We had very noisy neighbours who key their doors slam close after midnight & again at 3am ! Maybe a soft door closure would help. Finally trying to fed in the shower & put on right temperature without first soaking floor ! Also shower head needs replacing or cleaning as flow was all over the place. Having said that agent at the end of the phone was very helpful & pleasant & resolved issues very quickly.

I wanted to love this but lots of little disappointments made this into an overall bad experience. The keyless entry was pretty convenient and I was aware that there would be very few staff on site but the reality was that you couldn't speak to anyone at all after 5pm and as a single female, this felt unsafe. My TV didn't work and there was no help until the next day (post my checkout) so I landed in a small room with nothing to do. Worst of all the room was filthy - dust on every surface and the coffee station was unuseable. Some products were missing from the bathroom and the ones that were there were empty, broken and dirty. The bathroom itself was clean but the old Hilton towels were a real disappointment. Despite the price and convienience, I'd really hesitate to stay again.

We stayed here during a particularly hot period in London and wanted to upgrade to a room with air conditioning. Unfortunately, communication was slow, with online responses taking around an hour, and different staff members quoted different upgrade fees, which was confusing. After upgrading, we encountered an issue with the room lock, leaving the room unsecured. Thankfully, nothing was lost, but it was concerning. We then had to pack and move our luggage again to a third room, which was inconvenient and disruptive to our stay. While the staff eventually agreed to provide a small fraction of refund as compensation, we are still waiting for it to be processed. Overall, the stay was disappointing due to slow and inconsistent communication, small rooms, and the need to change rooms due to maintenance issues.
