Jul 5, 2026Great location, staff were friendly, comfortable rooms. But the rooms need updating, carpets need a good clean as does the bathroom, shower heads was spraying water from the top of the head onto the ceiling.

The bathroom needed repairs. Tile and grout were worn and chipped.
Staff were cheerful, helpful and were attentive to our feedback.

Jun 7, 2026The beds were amazingly comfy as were the pillows. HUGE tv, plenty of options to stream if you have those services to log in to. Right on the main street, but set back enough on the property that it was really quite. Everything you could want is within a 1 minute walk.
But If you're looking to sleep in though the light streaming through the curtains will challenge that as they are not block out and there is glass above the door with no curtains at all.

The bad: Intermittent hot water, the leaking fridge / smell from wet carpet, flies/bugs/ants.
This place has great bones but it's dated and is in dire need of a complete reno. At $287 a night (1A, 2C) I expect hot water and a clean, odour free room.

Feb 2, 2026We pretty much dropped my bags and went to the engagement party. Really wished i had gone in the bathroom prior. Was not cleaned. Prior person facewasher is still in the shower. Wet foot prints in the bathroom. I had called the reception after we left because they were around when we checked out. They really didn't seem suprised. And gave a fake ass apology only good thing the bed was comfortable.

Unfortunately the rooms were not sound proof at all, and the adjoining rooms normal family discussion and tv watching was unbearably loud for us next door whilst trying to sleep - keeping us up until after 11pm. For that reason, I would not stay here again.

Jan 17, 2026We had arranged late check-in and received a code for the key safe at our door. The code was 5 digits but the key safe only required 4. We rang the after hours number and received a new 4-digit code that didn't work. A second code also didn't work. Thankfully after 4 phone calls and 45 minutes we finally got a working code and entry into our room. The Wifi password didn't work, making it difficult to book accommodation at further destinations. When we went to make a cup of tea, discovered housekeeping had forgotten to leave any milk in the fridge. The bedhead on the queen bed had large greasy marks where peoples heads had been resting on the bedhead. There were ants in the queen bed and a slug emerged from the wall in the second bedroom. And to make it perfect, there was no hot water in the morning for showers. We were grateful to find a room in a popular destination, but were disappointed considering the cost.
