Because I don’t speak Italian or German, checking un was a challenge. The receptionist behaved as if I was the one at fault for not finding a common language. After taking our passports and handing me a key, she left abruptly without indicating the location of the room. The room itself was nice. The on site restaurant was very good, but very under staffed (maybe because it was Italian Liberatiin Day, a holiday). Breakfast and parking were fine. The Wifi did not work during our entire stay. Takimg into account the checking in debaucle, we did not have the energy to complain.&

Nice clean rooms. Staff very friendly. Rooms had nice balconies. Beds were comfortable but room was hot. No air conditioning, no screens on windows - very large black flies. Food in restaurant was very good. Nice pizza oven! Breakfast was outstanding. Parking was a challenge but not insurmountable.

Large spacious room with Mountain View. The room was cosy and had a large bathroom. Everything was clean and in good condition. The hotel had nice decorations and flowers which made it feel comfortable and warm. We had pizza and it was delicious. The breakfast was great. Serviceable but slightly timeworn guesthouse by the side of the road. The best part was the food as the restaurant was quite nice and the waiter very pleasant. The breakfast was good. The hotel premises seemed a little worn, and the rooms seemed a little musty and damp. There is scaffolding all over one side so you can't see out. Check-in was a little slow and the hotel staff didn't seem to care much.

We spent 3 days in the dolomite area. We stayed in 3 to 4 star hotels. This hotel ranks the highest in terms of breakfast buffet. They are generous. High quality pastries, cold meats, juices, coffee and mile etc etc. None of the other hotels that we paid more could match it for the food. Nice clean rooms. You smell the mountain air and hear the streams nearby.

Great location, yet close to Bozen. Renovated guest rooms and restaurants are all fresh and clean. However the renovation was still going on and was quite noisy. Also the insect spraying outside.
