Loved most things about this hotel. It’s pretty, great location, clean, quiet and employs extremely good staff. Beds were comfy and room adequate.
However, we booked a triple room as we needed 2 beds, with patio or balcony. Shockingly the single bed was upstairs, up steep, narrow, stone stairs. This was completely unexpected as it was not described that way on Expedia and the photos didn’t make that evident. Quite a nuisance when needing the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Secondly we did not have a private balcony or patio, it was a wraparound balcony shared by 6 rooms with just one 2 seater bench and small table on it. And clearly nowhere to hang swimwear or sweaty clothing to dry out.
Lastly there is limited space around the beautiful pool for sunbeds so securing one can be difficult if you’re not up in time. And they can’t be moved so you’re in the one spot for the duration regardless of where the sun is or if you need shade.
Those things aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are exceptional and very professional. Breakfast is delicious as are items from the bar menu.
