The employees are very nice. We had an issue with noise from construction and they moved us to a bigger and quiet room. We didn’t ask to be moved they offered. If you like hot showers this isn’t the place. They said they don’t have super hot water like we are use to.

I think this property is a little costly, resulting in a lower value-to-cost ratio. Its short walking distance for the water taxi makes up for this since you will not need to pay for transportation to the hotel. We were greeted by a rather large six-legged brown creature upon entering the room.

Good view from hotel with own pier , they do lots of good things like pool towels, kayaks, free tea and coffee, a fire put at night etc. There is a marked difference in the standard of rooms, the basic doubles are really quite basic and in the older block that needs some tlc. Other rooms are significantly better and benefit from the view.

We had an awesome time at La Isla Resort. Centrally located to restaurant, bars, and attractions, beach across the street with chairs. LA isla had paddle boards for use. I highly recommend La Isla for your Caye Caulker stay.
