O.M.G.....Frat House Environment
When we got their we had to walk up 3 flights in a winding narrow stairwell. Opened the door (which was unlocked) to find the bed not made (used sheets still on bed) and garbage still in room. Manager quickly made up bed, took out garbage and vacuumed since they didn't have another room to give us and it was late. Luckily we had disposable slippers from another hotel to walk around in. We stayed out of the room as long as possible during our two night stay. Fortunately it was only two nights. Their tag line "Simple and Clean" is far from the truth.

WORST HOTEL EVER!
By far the worst hotel I've ever seen in my life! No soap, no towels, no shampoo, very very very dirty and too small. Terrible bedding and mouldy shower curtains. If you want to ruin your holiday by booking at this hotel then go ahead. DO NOT GO TO THIS TRASH YARD!

Tijuana Mexico has better rooms in the ghetto
I have seen better rooms in Tijuana, Mexico. I hope I never stay here again. I know that this area does not have the best rooms, but this place is bottom of the barrel. Don't stay here unless you can find nothing else, ans still look again. The only plus is the location near to the train station and at the entrance to the Red Light District. The management was also VERY nice, the rooms just sucked! a lot!! Suggestion to the owners: new mattress, new bedding, regular sized & new towels (towels were little more than hand towels for the sink), and new paint would make al the difference. For the price we pay for what you offer, it can be done. Thank you.

Smelt badly and staff screamed all the time
We were really happy with the location but everything else was horrible. We arrived and it smelt like mould throughout the entire hotel. The smell was unbearable for our 3 night stay. There were 8 pubic hairs in the shower when we checked in (it had obviously not been cleaned at all). Every morning we were woken to the staff banging on other rooms and screaming "are you staying or are you going? If you stay, you pay cash immediately. You pay right now" at 8am. Check out was 10:30am so I'm not sure why everyone was harassed at 8am.

Aye dependant
Good for young backpackers who aren't concerned with the condition of their accommodation, as they'll hardly ever be in the room. Wouldn't recommend for anyone looking for remotely any comfort, space, or cleanliness. But if those values do not concern you, I'd recommend the hotel. Location is great.

The hotel location is good and near to central.
Very bad experience, no flexibility, no elevator, no cupboard for my clothes and private items, no refrigerator, no safe, no hair dryer, no air-condition, the blankets condition is bad, even there was no elevator there was no staff helping to carrying bags upstairs! The room was very small for two persons, the smell was not good. Beside my room there was a common toilet and shower.

Bed bugs
When we booked this hotel we had no idea how awful it really would be. Toilet hadn't been cleaned with someone else's mess still in it. Mouse traps on the floor so obviously the hotel was expecting rodents- disgusting. Come home itchy- bed bugs? Very very dated hotel.

Good for smokers or those who are nose blind
Tiny room, which was obvious a smokers room (was not given an option when I booked the room). Sheets were clean but obviously too small for the bed size and could not be tucked in as it barely covered the (conveniently tinted) black mattress. No sign of bedbugs, which made me happy. Heater in room came on at all hours and would turn the little room into a sauna. Cigarette burns in carpet, table cloth, blanket and on bathroom shelves. Water in shower was nice and hot, shower curtain a foot too short (on the bottom) so it was sort of pointless. Toilet paper dispenser in inconvenient location: behind the toilet, and there was not even a bar of soap in room, but we were given 2 towels, the size of dish towel and everything stank of smoke (incl the towels). Nasty. Location was good, 5min walk from main train station. Front desk was staffed 24h

avoid this hotel
the hotel was rubbish and the noise due to work going on was bad, the view was nothing short of discussing and not as advertised, if I had been booked in for more than one night I would have taken photos and complained, shabby to say the least

There was a serious argument in the room next door
A woman was attacked in the room next to us and the hotel did nothing about it as the owner knew the man who attacked the woman. Shocking

Great location but very uncomfortable
Not suitable for anyone but young people. We enjoyed the location, however the sheets were too small for the very uncomfortable foam mattress, the shower curtains were too short which means every shower flooded the bathroom and the stairs were a nightmare to get up/down. If you are looking for great location, bare minimum in the room then it's fine but be ready for loud neighbours.

good location poor hotel
ok so described as clean & simple. simple yes clean no. The toilet flush button was missing, the bowl was black, the toilet roll holder kept falling open. The shower plug was full of hair. Room very outdated. Sheets didn't fit the bed. Curtains were possibly as old as the building. No tv. The stairs were steep and winding and if on top floor were 60 +.
