We had an amazing time. The hotel is beautiful, the room was clean with good facilities. There is a plentiful choice of food for breakfast and evening meals. The only thing I would complain about is that in my opinion the pool bar drinks and food are very overpriced.

Colonial Lanka at it's finest!

The best welcome to Sri Lanka is to walk through the doors of Galle Face hotel. To be greeting by the concierge who has been there for over 50 years. The rooms are charming and you feel like you are in bygone era. The breakfast buffet is simply divine - especially when you get to enjoy it on the greatest verandah in Colombo. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy!

I have always loved staying at Galle Face hotel but this time I was a little disappointed The standard seems to have slipped a bit The service was not as good as it was before and the room amenities were not so good. I was also quite disappointed with the breakfast which used to be one of the best. Though the variety was there but not the taste

Nice traditional hotel which is at a good location. However, the really small beach strip is not allowed to be used. The whole place is really old and needs lots of maintenance.
