Decent property. On the average, staff is not very friendly. WiFi was down most of the stay. Long queue and wait times at most restaurants, with no online reservation system.

The Villa del Palmar resort is wonderful! Great location on the beach in a decently swimmable area. Cabo isn't known for the most swimmable beaches, but this is the best beach for that. The staff were so great, responsive and attentive. The food was incredible - lots of options and everything tasted amazing. Three issues - was made to attend a timeshare presentation that was supposed to last 90 minutes and lasted four hours. NOT worth spending half a day of our vacation wasting our time and did not appreciate the concierge team pushing us to do this. Secondly, all of our group got tummy issues at some point on the trip. Not sure what that was from but was not fun. Lastly, the wifi DOES NOT work at the resort. We overheard them telling new guests that this "just started today" when we'd been there for three days already with no wifi, so I'd imagine its an ongoing issue. Overall, it was a nice location with lots of activities and made for a great vacation.

During our one-week stay, the Wi-Fi was unavailable the entire time. It seems the system had been down for nearly three weeks, which caused delays in tasks like checking in at restaurants. For the Christmas dinner, we were told that the buffet couldn’t be reserved, but despite waiting for over an hour, we were unpleasantly surprised to see people with reservations skipping the line. The lack of consistency among the staff made it frustrating for those who patiently waited in line, as they were treated unfairly. The food was not good, and the show was just lip-synced. I was disappointed to find that the café menu and the ice cream shop were not included in the all-inclusive package, which was a first. Additionally, there was no buffet open at all times, so whenever we wanted a meal, we had to go to a restaurant and endure slow table service. We wanted to grab a quick lunch before heading to beach activities, but we had to wait over two hours just to get a pizza. Upon arrival, we were made to attend a tour introducing the hotel membership, which lasted nearly three hours. Despite our kids being hungry, we weren’t allowed to return to our room. In the end, we were even pressured with questions like, “Why wouldn’t you buy such a great deal?!” Although we managed to decline, we were then approached by about four other staff members, each offering slightly lower prices in an attempt to negotiate. This prolonged the ordeal, and we were still not allowed to leave for our room.

Why cannot you trust the band for all inclusive guests? I hate being asked all the time if we have all inclusive services. The waiting for food is also too long.

Great location, beautiful beach, food was pretty good, hated the hardcore timeshare sales tactics especially the moment you step foot on property after a long day of travel and hungry - but maybe that is their strategy - they want to wear you down in a weaker state. Our room had several issues such as easily plugged toilets, main shower didn't work, tv in bedroom stopped working several times (husband fixed). Impossible to get through to front desk but issues fixed quickly once successful. Many different levels of food programs, be careful and make sure you fully understand your program. Even though our package was "all-inclusive", it cost us a lot of money in errors and misunderstanding.

The reason I gave low ratings to this hotel is because they have a very noisy construction going on in the main resort areas and they don’t mention it anywhere. They did not even say anything during the check in and we ended up with room facing the construction site. You could hear the noise even with the windows closed.

Stayed with my family at Villa Del Palmer. Loved the location of the hotel. Close to the arch and lots of water sports to do. WiFi did not work during the duration of our stay causing issues connecting to internet. As it is Cabo network in general was sloppy. Resort all inclusive food was average at best. We stepped out a few times to downtown to have good food. Breakfast was only served at one restaurant and it’s atleast 45 mins wait to get a table. Could have been better organized or have grab and go breakfast options. Staff and service is very good !!

The property was ok, but was suffering from a cybersecurity attack. So that meant no internet, the computers were down at check in which meant everything done on paper, all the restaurants had to do hand written cheques, same for any drinks from the bars. All this resulted in so pretty crazy wait times for food and drinks. It feels like the resort is understaffed at times. Having said all that, the people we did deal with were all very kind, the room service people were very attentive (although we did have 2 issues in our room that I requested repair, and we never did have anyone from maintenance come visit). We also completely lost water pressure one morning for a brief period of time. The food was very good, and we did not have a bad meal. The only downside was the lack of options for our daughter (a very picky eater unfortunately for us), so that made it a challenge. I will be back at a Villa property in the future, but it won’t be at the Del Palmer.

Considering this was also a work trip that I needed internet for and lost out on more money than the whole trip cost, I’d say they do their guests a great disservice not notifying them that their internet is out for 10 days prior to their travels and with no fix date in sight. No wifi our entire stay. And almost no cell service here, so forget about upping your data plan. A waste. Also we saw news of some construction but heard it was minimal but instead it was bandsaws and hammering all day every day into the night ours even. We couldn’t even sit at the upper pool & had to stay at the kids pool for some quiet time. Construction echoed all through our room and we couldn’t have the balcony door open. Plus one of two elevators were broken & had to walk 5 flights of stairs constantly. The register at the market were always down and slow to get anything with them hand writing all purchases. We were never given the 1 massage that was suppose to be included either. And the TV reception was bad with constant popups on the screen to advertise some feature on the TV. When we asked for our money back, the hotel said to take it up with Travelocity. And Travelocity said they need to clear it with the hotel. So far we have not yet been refunded. All in all, a miserable experience here. Maybe their customer service can help but so far not at all.

Amazing location and great facilities at the resort. Fantastic place for a family vacation. Only problem I had is that they said wifi is included in the all inclusive package where as we didnt get wifi while in the resort, had to use our own cell service

2/10 Poor

There was no wi-fi. The phone in my room didnt work, so we couldn't even order room service after paying for all inclusive. The remote for the TV didn't work. I requested a room change, which was not done. The reception/service desk are the rudest people, full of attitude with no empathy. I will not suggest anyone to book this place. All they want to do is sell time-shares. Worst experience.

Comfortable beds, cold air conditioning, and good food! Service at the main bar was super slow. No wifi, elevator in one of the buildings didn’t work, and besides the evening 45min-1hr show there was not really any entertainment.

We stayed here for a few days with 2 young kids. The services and the staff at the resort were really good. The kids pool is fun and the regular pool was also great. The kids loved the hot tubs the most though. We got a room with a view of the ocean and saw the most beautiful sunrises. The food was also good with plenty of options. I didn’t feel the need to go out to eat anywhere. The proximity to the beach is an added plus. The only con is that the wifi wasn’t working the whole time we were there.
