For the price itâs good value for money itâs very quiet and great location the hotel cat is also the loveliest cat so pls feed it wet food it made the stay very special
requested for certain room but not given and did not inform about the request.
now 1 pillow if=s given to 1 person, it used to be 2 pillows to 1 person, extra pillow request, to be charge RM5/pillow.
the room was not fully renovated compared to the room (my booking in early Jan 2024).
This property is a little gem! Stayed a few times now, room is massive with lovely big windows, staff are friendly and helpful, Iâll be staying here again in my return to Penang. Thank you
Great things:
Near to the beach and can walk about 100 mtr to get foods.
Nice building from outside.
Bad things:
- Dirty mugs. Please wash before use.
- Toilet dirty especially the wall.
- Pillow case got stains
- Non smoking room but got strong cigarettes's smells in the living room. Perhaps from the next room (smells from connecting door access)
- No night lamp in the bedroom. So, either you sleep with the really bright led downlight lamp or go to Mr.diy and buy your own night lamp.
- Got big cockroach on the tabletop (kitchen area)
- Stated in the booking app that this room comes with parking space at hotel. Then when you arrived, they told you only limited parking space (first come first serve) and please park outside - the recep highlighted us that no need to worry because "polis takkan saman".
- They gave iron but no iron board. So use your own alas for to iron your clothes. The iron also will burn your clothes so be careful.
Overall, not gonna repeat at the same hotel.
Hotel had good location, old hotel with uncomfortable bed and towels very small. Pillows smelled and uncomfortable. Staff was alright but not that friendly. Pool was green and had no lounges to sit at or towels at pool. I give it 2 stars.
Leisure Cove was old but definitely had charm! My room was massive, lovely big window overlooking the sea! Off the main road , so no traffic noise, always a bonus! Staff were very helpful and smiling. Iâll be staying here again if Iâm lucky enough to return to George Town.
Love the space and the pool, but furnitures are bit old, room a bit smelly. Overall maintenance of the place is a bit lacking. But really love the big space
Where do i start??the bath and sink needs a major clean, the amount of grime was shocking.you need to invest in cleaning products,we brits are particular in cleanliness, and your hotel would fail in this area.the sink area was also in a shocking state too..the fridge in our room was also in a terrible state, once mould is on the door you need to replace it.pillows are also terrible.the anount of stains from past guests was very alarming to me ,again in England they wouldn't be there for guests to use period.the cleaners all need re training how to clean with detergents to ensure people come to ur hotel, this is mainly a review for the brits to see how bad a hotel it really is.
