About this villa
Hillside house with stunning sea views from all rooms, just outside the magical town of Begur in the Costa Brava. The spacious family home is available to rent year round. Situated in a quiet, secluded neighbourhood with scattered luxury villas on a forested hill. No high-rise hotels nearby. Begur, a beautifully preserved mediaeval town, is 90 minutes north of Barcelona, and 45 minutes from Gerona, in the unspoilt portion of the Spanish coast. The three-story house sleeps six comfortably, and has two balconies and four sunny patios. The garden area includes a private pool and a jacuzzi (particularly welcome during off season lets). Sea views from the balconies are superb. Five secluded beaches are accessible by car, with the closest five minutes away. Five excellent golf courses nearby, playable all year round. Begur, with its charming hilltop castle, is within walking distance and has fantastic restaurants and boutiques along its narrow, ancient streets.

Lovely home, spectacular setting
If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, with amazing views and easy access to beaches and restaurants- this is the place for you! This lovely home has a pool and a hot tub, both boasting with breathtaking views of the ocean! The balconies also offer extraordinary views- for taking your morning coffee or enjoying sun downers. There are several beaches very near by all of them with their own charm! Some are rocky, some are sandy, some are more populated than others... you choose! There's something for everyone, no doubt. Also just a short car ride away you can explore well preserved medieval cities! Restaurants are nearby and are plentiful. Above and beyond all, Jerry is a fabulous host. We had questions leading up to our trip and Jerry was very quick to reply. We also had a question upon our arrival, and Jerry again, was super quick to reply and assist us in getting things sorted. If you are renting a home, you should be so lucky to have such a helpful and responsive host as Jerry.

disappointing
The villa was not as we expected. The views are superb and there are different areas to relax in. But it is overlooked from all angles ,the villa directly next to the swimming pool played blaring music and we felt we had no privacy and we looked directly into the villa on the rights outside dinning area. There is a smell of damp in all rooms. Not for us.

Great place for a relaxing autumn break
Jerry's home was just right for our family of 4. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing week with space to spare (we didn't even use the bottom floor bedroom and bath). The views of the sea and surrounding hills are amazing. Sitting in the jacuzzi overlooking the Mediterranean is therapy anyone can benefit from. The kitchen was well appointed for home-cooked meals when we didn't visit the restaurants in Begur and surrounding towns. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful during our October stay. Jerry was very responsive and helpful with our questions.

A wonderfully relaxing week in a beautiful villa
I took my mum out to Begur with me for a week of relaxing, wining and dining. The villa was just what we wanted, spacious but not too big we’d lose each other! The views over the sea were stunning and the hot tub was well used of an evening. The villa is in an ideal location to pop into Begur for dinner and/or drinks, and if you have a hire car there are so many incredible towns to visit only a short drive away. A wonderful trip in a beautiful villa with stunning views. We’ll be back!

Perfection
A fantastic location to explore the area from. In November this area becomes very quiet and felt like we had most of the beaches to ourselves. The hikes along the cost were breathtaking. Sitting in the Jacuzzi each night looking out over the sea was unbelievable. The place was perfect for our family of 4 - we didn't even need the bottom bedroom so there is lots of space for a larger group. Jerry was fantastic and responded quickly and sorted out any issues that arose. Thank you for this lovely place - we will be back to the Costa Brava for sure!

Everything we wanted
Casa Buena Vista was truly everything we hoped it would be: a breathtaking view of the sea, very clean, and welcoming. We came during the off season and it was colder than we expected, so we enjoyed the warmth of the jacuzzi every night. Our host had also placed space heaters around the home which we very much appreciated. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. We loved having a kitchen and found it well stocked for our needs. We bought local caught fish and local wine at the supermarket nearby and both were amazing! We would love to come back when the weather is warmer and would definitely stay at Casa Buena Vista again.

Superb holiday in every way
We had a wonderful week at Jerry's house in Begur. The house is clean, well-equipped and the views are, of course, superb. We have been to many holiday homes around the Med and experienced a wide range of quality. This is by far the best place we have rented, especially given the very reasonable rates charged. Begur is a magical place and this is a very special home.

Wonderful holiday at a wonderful house
We got away for a week in October when the weather was superb and the area not at all crowded. Jerry's house was everything we wanted for our holiday. The facilities were excellent, the kitchen well stocked and everything sparklingly clean. The jacuzzi was especially nice on the cool evenings. We will definitely be returning. We were especially impressed by how promptly and courteously Jerry replied to all our many queries. Begur is a fantastic town and this is a very special place to stay. The views are terrific.
