Aug 13, 2026The room was clean and very useful. The stove, microwave, and full size fridge were great.
However, The floor was bare polished concrete (with no carpet or rugs, requiring wearing shoes indoors), the television was unconnected (and cost extra to connect) but the internet was fee, and the bed frame was so high that even a 6 foot tall man had to climb up into bed.
The staff were very helpful, both at the front desk and in the dining room.
Overall, a decent place to stay if you're looking for a basic room.

Basic student accomodation - but actually ideal if you just need a bed for the night. The room was hot, no TV and basic breakfast (oats, egg, cereal, bagels, toast and fruit). The room had a bathroom, kitchen and massive fridge freezer.

Jul 2, 2026We recently stayed here as a family with a young toddler for a short vacation trip. The location is absolutely fantastic—very close to the C-Train, North Hill Mall for grocery shopping, and transit options. The rooms are clean, practical, and having access to a kitchen space was incredibly helpful for preparing our own homemade meals. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly.
The only downside was the shower water. We had very little hot water during our stay, which made showers a bit uncomfortable, especially after a long day of exploring out in the cold mountain air.
Overall, it is an excellent, affordable, and safe budget option for families, but management definitely needs to check the hot water pressure/temperature systems for the rooms. Would still recommend for the convenience and price!

Jun 23, 2026The hotel/room was good enough for us.It had all the essentials for our trip including fridge, towel and toiletries. Two of four elevators were working, and breakfast was ok( eggs, cereal, coffee, muffins, croissant and bread, yogurt, cream cheese, butter, jam and honey ). Bed was small for two people but we already knew it was double so no complains on it. We visited in June, so not having ac wasn't an issue. it could be nice if hotel had slippers and cutlery but otherwise we didn't have other issues. location was also good, about 25 minutes walk to downtown and also close to train.

Jul 11, 2026I feel like I was catfished. Property is nothing like the photos. Sure it’s serviceable, feels safe and inexpensive comparatively for the area. You get free continental breakfast too including hot eggs so there’s that. But don’t assume it’s like a hotel. It’s a dorm room. Concrete floors, squeaky spring mattress high off the floor, no coffee maker or tv (the ad doesn’t say it’s included but don’t assume like I did), it’s loud, it’s hot and there’s no fan. If you know what you are getting I think it’s a decent place to crash. Just wish they were a little more transparent with what you were getting so you’re not disappointed.

Jun 7, 2026Many aspects were great including staff and the continental breakfast. Unfortunately, there are zero amenities in the room. If you dont bring your own cup you couldn't even make tea. The windows have no sound proofing and the 7:00 am construction noise was quite disruptive. The beds are dormitory beds, so they are very hard (kind of like sleeping on a cardboard box). The bedding is minimal so you might nees to ask for a blanket from the front desk.
