Overall, I have to say that the value for money at Center Parcs is a bit off these days. As someone who used to really like the whole idea of Center Parcs – you know, those cozy holiday cottages with lots of fun things to do, especially for families – I think it's important to point out a few things that bothered me during my recent stay.
First off, we picked one of those fancier "VIP" holiday houses, but the place had a strong smell of mold, and you could actually see mold on the walls. I'm not sure when they last updated it. Also, the bathtub had some bugs in it, and there were some other cleanliness issues that caught my attention.
As expected, the pool area got really crowded over the weekend. It's fine, but maybe they should think about limiting how many day visitors they let in when it's so busy. Just my two cents.
You should also know that a Center Parcs getaway can get pretty expensive, especially if you're a family and you want more than just fast food.
On a positive note, there are some free activities that are pretty good, like the Family Quiz Night. The staff at the park are mostly friendly and seem to care about guests having a good time. And I've got to say, the dinner buffet at Evergreenz is worth trying. The food's really good, and it's €40 per person, which isn't bad, especially considering you get free beer and wine.
Unfortunately, this was the second time in a year that I didn't have a great experience at a Center Parcs resort. So, I might hold off on
