When we arrive, our booking in Expedia wasn't on their system, so we had to wait for a while. The room is good, a little smell of humidity but not bad. Big bed very comfortable, a/C working fine.

No hot water in the shower. No lights in garden over the night. No place to put soap and shampoo in the shower. Pool water is too cold. Breakfast is TERRBLE! Milk & White bread?? Really!? I won’t return to this “hotel” and I suggest to people find other options instead of this.

Covers all the basics

The bed was comfortable, and the shower got hot water. The location was great, you can walk to both downtown and the beach from here. Hot coffee and toast doesn’t really qualify as breakfast, but it’s nice nonetheless. Thanks for having bikes to rent too.

A cute place worth the price. Convenient location. Bikes were for an extra charge for staying guests. The shower ran weakly and took a while to get the hot water, and the sink didn't work correctly (we had to change a room). Staff was overall friendly and willing to assist, although not all of them.

We would not go again

The room smelled of mold and we felt trapped. there was blood on the sheets which we told them to chang but they didn’t for 4 days. the receptionists were completely uninterested in the guests and we were also sick for a day from the eggs from the breakfast. The pool was dirty and was not cleaned until the last day. Other common areas were dirty. Felt like no one cared about the hotel or its guest

Small but lovely!

It was much cuter and better than I thought. Loved my staying there. Friendly staff and its near to the downtown, beach and many more. It would be nice if they could have WIFI in the pool area instead of the lobby as the lobby was so small (only two seats). It'd be nice if I could rest by pool and checking my emails, posting social media etc.

Quiet property. Lot of mosquitoes in our room and a heavy smell coming from the water and canalisations.

The property was fantastic for such a low price. A definite upgrade over the local hostels. The location was convenient to just about everything in Tulum. The room was large and simple- a big comfy bed, A/C, a fan, some shelves, and a desk. The Wifi worked well both in the room and in the courtyard area. The floors are concrete, but we're very clean throughout my week long stay. The walls don't insulate sound very well, but even in my room next to the office, there was rarely anyone making any noise. There were quite a few mosquitoes in the room, and the had a feast, but friend of mine that stayed at a high end resort on the beach had the same issue. By far the best part was the staff. Raquel and Oliver really made me feel at home, wether they were making me free breakfast and tea in the morning after a great night of sleep, or greeting me at 7am after a long night of partying. I would stay there again, maybe requesting a room further towards the back of the property for a little more privacy. If you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay while you explore a of Tulum (pueblo, beach, cenotes, ruins), give them a shot. The money you save on the room can go a long way towards other activities in the area.

I was absolutely pleased with this hotel, the staff and our stay. My wife and I stayed in bungalow #4 upstairs. I called about two times prior to our arrival to confirm if the rooms had A/C and they were super kind. Upon arrivals the front desk was very accommodating and sweet. Oliver is my absolute favorite! He helped us throughout our entire stay and was super amazing! I will definitely be staying at this cute little hotel again!

This property was ideal for our group of ten! We had 5 rooms and the hotel felt more like a rental home to us. We had the pool to ourselves the entire week, the staff was ready to help within a moments notice, and happy to do so! We asked for extra hand towels and toilet paper occasionally because we requested they not clean every day, and they were so so kind. The owner, Oliver, was the epitome of true hospitality! If every hotel owner cared about their staff and guests like he does, they’d all have great reviews. This hotel is not a big, pretentious resort- we were not looking for that. It’s a quaint, clean, unique group of hacienda style huts. Not ritzy, but again, very clean. You can hear a lot from the rooms so I would recommend bringing a white noise maker or downloading an app. Breakfast was simple- good coffee, pineapple juice, and a variety of egg choices (occasionally they even had pancakes). This breakfast was included with our stay. And the service was excepcional. Most of the staff didn’t speak a lot of English but made great efforts to communicate and this was so appreciated. When we left we actually felt so sad to leave our hotel because Oliver and his staff had become part of our little family and I think they enjoyed our goofyness. They made a point to tell our group how much they appreciated having us and how sad the hotel would be without us. Oliver said not every group treats them as well as we had and they thanked us for being very kind. LOVE THIS PLACE!!

This is a pleasant affordable hotel in a good location to downtown, restaurants, and grocery store. Bike rental will get you to the beach area easily. Be prepared to speak more Spanish since the staff doesn’t speak much of anything else. One negative would be coffee isn’t served until 8. I would think for such a small hotel, coffee makers in each room would not be unreasonable. I would have rented one.

I stayed in 7 Deseos recently. The room was great, clean, and very comfortable. We had air conditioning in our room and hot water. We didn’t use the hotel pool but it looked clean. Oliver, the hotel concierge, was also great! Very helpful and friendly. Def recommend this place if you want a quaint, quiet place to stay.

Awesome, except if you need Wifi

This place has a really cool feel to it, definitely not like a normal hotel. The front desk staff are awesome and super friendly. The hotel has a dive shop, bike rental, and restaurant right beside it, which I'd definitely recommend checking out. The hotel is right near the archaeological zone and directly on the bike path for access to anywhere in the rest of the city. The only complaint is that the Wifi does not work at all, except in the restaurant or it also kind of works by the pool. In 2019, it's a little inexcusable to not have accessible wifi in hotel rooms. It's not like the place is really that large or would be hard to cover with a few additional access points. Happy with our stay here overall!

we had a great stay at siete deseos! the hotel is in an ideal location, close to both the beach area and the downtown. the room was very clean and comfortable and the shower always had hot water. the pool was kept free of leaves and debris and was great for a dip after a long day. breakfast was made to order in the mornings and delicious. staff was friendly and helpful as well. wifi is only in the public area, but we had no issue with that since we were there to disconnect, and the hotel is so small it was easy to go down to reception to check email. we would stay at siete deseos again next time we’re in tulum.
