Truly excellent. Not sure whether i was upgraded but the room was excellent. I used to stau at The Melbourne but this one is in a different league. Absolutely great. Good location. Good service. Good rooms. Absolutely great.

The hotel seems relatively new. However there was a power outage on the 3rd night and it lasted for about 1.5hours. No way my roommate could shower as the water supply got cut off too which was rather absurd. Housekeeping was lousy given the hotel brand, bare minimum was done everyday.

Overall an excellent stay. Very well appointed room. Great bed, excellent bathroom and very good all round hotel. Good location although can get quite “colourful” late at night. Although I do like being kept up to date, received way too many text messages from the hotel in relation to my stay.

Lively and Pleasant Hotel

Central and lively hotel surrounded by activity and lots of food and drink offerings. Good staff and newish property. Drawback is that they do not have their own parking so you need to use public parking if you have a car.

Comfy hotel in the centre of Perth nightlife

The hotel room was spacious and beautifully appointed. The bed was super comfy and we were given a room in the middle which was well insulated from the noise outside which made my stay super enjoyable. There is a nice decent pool on the 3rd floor however I could not use it on a weekend as it was booked for an event. There is also a small gym and looks well equipped although I didn't have the chance to use it. The breakfast was excellent serving a wide variety of delicious continental food selection. I would definitely recommend to include breakfast in your booking. This hotel is also located right in the heart of the nightlife district in Northbridge. Plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from. China town is nearby and there is also a 24/7 chinese restaurant just opposite from the hotel. As northbridge is in the nightlife/red light district of Perth city it may not be suitable for families who prefer a quieter area in the city. Overall we had a pleasant stay in this hotel and without hesitation choose this hotel if we plan of staying in Perth city again.

Doubletree is a fantastic, funky hotel in the absolute centre of Northbridge, literally 5 minutes walk to the CBD, the museum, theatres, etc. There is a great pool, and smart, clean rooms with awesome views. It's a full on area, so not right for people who want quiet streets and sleepy vibes. That said, the rooms are quiet. A sanctuary in the heart of Perth.
