Lovely hotel, overall it was very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were nice. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The hotel is a bit from the main train station but the #6 drops you off directly in front of the hotel. Would definitely recommend this modern hotel to anyone.

The property was fine and the staff, very friendly. However, the reservation purchased through Expedia included breakfast for 2, but at the hotel I was informed that the rate did not include breakfast and had to pay it extra at check-out. Any attempt to contact Expedia for a reimbursement has been impossible.

The room is very small, no kettle, no slippers, needed to wait a bit for check in. Overall, not what we expected for a 4-sar hotel.

There was a very loud guest yelling through the open window at 3am multiple times. A staff member of the neighboring NH hotel took a look to the issue. Also the staff at the reception was nice but should be a little bit more attentive to new incoming guests.

Thank god for Holiday Inn to have a new name and renovated, so all brand new and looking so much better and modern. But there is the issue of the wrong information on the website, there’s now no option for a double bed, all rooms only have 2 x single beds, being a huge error when renovating a hotel and providing the wrong information online. They understand this and it needs to be clarified.

Brilliant, 5 stars all around!
What a lovely hotel with very friendly staff. We were a group of 6 friends travelling to Germany for the Timewarp festival located in Mannheim. The hotel was located perfectly to reach the bus and trams to get to and from the venue. The hotel rooms are a bit smaller than usual, but very clean, comfortable and are sound proofed with a built in speaker, perfect for a groups who like to play music with friends.
The staff behind the checkin counter and bar were extremely helpful. We had an unexpected hiccup in our journey to Mannheim so it took us a lot longer to get to the hotel then we planned, but the staff were very helpful, checking us it at 5am in the morning!
The hotel has a 24 hour bar and serves pizzas 24 hours. Very good value for money! We will be returning next year for timewarps 30th anniversary!

An unhappy experience
Check in experience was bad - unprofessional staff who kept talking to me in German regardless I said I don’t speak it. I was charged hotel stay at the reception although hotel stay was already paid via Hotels.com. The receptionists could not trace that payment and made me pay hotel stay again just to confirm afterwards that the hotel stay was already paid. They refunded the money to my credit card and the money hasn’t been received to date. I also paid eur 50 for a late checkout however hotel staff came to the room door waking me up in the process and asking me to vacate the room at the regular check out hour. The rooms are tiny and not worth the money.

Ideale Lage an der Strassenbahnlinie zwischen Hauptbahnhof und SAP Arena, wo ich eine Veranstaltung besuchte. Man kann auch gut zu Fuss ins Zentrum laufen.
Beim Einchecken wurde ich gefragt, ob ich mit der hinterlegten Karte die Hotelrechnung bezahlen will, aber diese hatte ich bereits über die Buchungsplattform bezahlt und konnte die Abrechnung auch vorweisen. Beim Auschecken war jedenfalls nur die Touristenabgabe fällig.
Mein Zimmer hatte im Bad einen unangenehmen Geruch, deshalb fragte ich an der Rezeption nach einem Raumspray. Daraufhin bekam ich ein neues Zimmer, wo es dieses Problem nicht gab. Es hatte einige Gebrauchsspuren an Teppich, Sessel, Wand, aber ansonsten war alles sehr sauber. Das Queensize Bett, hatte 2 einzelne Matratzen (das sei im ganzen Hotel so, wurde mir gesagt), war jedoch bequem. Auch das Wifi und alles im Bad funktionierte gut.
Zusammenfassend ist das Hotel mit Lage, ÖV, Preis-Leistung und Service empfehlenswert.

Das Hotel bei Anfahrt mit dem Auto war schwierig überhaupt zu finden - lediglich die Kennzeichnung des benachbarten NHHotels war gut sichtbar - vom Holiday Inn Schild keine Spur! Das Personal an der Rezeption war zwar sehr freundlich, jedoch musste das gebuchte Frühstück von uns nachgewiesen werden - auch die gebuchten Einzelbetten waren nicht im System. Im Zimmer für 2 Personen ein Handtuch und keine Kleiderbügel vorhanden - zudem ein super kleines Zimmer, welches wir von Holiday Inn nicht gewohnt sind! Beim Aufenthalt von 3 Nächten erfolgte kein einziges Mal Zimmerservice. Es gab zwar einen Hinweis, durch Aufhängen eines Schildes den Wunsch zum housekeeping zu äußern oder bei nicht Aufhängen darauf zu verzichten - ein solches Schild war gar nicht vorhanden! Trotzdem - wie gesagt - keine Reinigung erfolgt!Wir sind insgesamt einen anderen Standard von Holiday Inn gewöhnt!!! Wir wussten zwar bei der Buchung, dass die Zimmer klein sind, aber so klein, war dann doch eine Überraschung und rechtfertigt keinesfalls den dafür aufgerufenen Zimmerpreis!!!
Auch die Parkplatzgebühr von 22 € pro Tag ist absolut überteuert!!!
In diesem Hotel würden wir nicht mehr übernachten und das benachbarte NH-Hotel bevorzugen.Schade!!!
