Greener than green. A falls where the heights makes you dizzy because of its near sky rocket height. The great Katibawasan Falls of Camiguin Island. A one of a kind falls that you need to experience.

Mabini Hotel

Mabini Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We initially booked a 3-night stay at Mabini Hotel but ended up extending to 4 nights. The property feels fresh and new, conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Mambajao Poblacion. The on-site restaurant is a huge plus, serving tasty meals from 6 AM to 9 PM with a solid variety of options at prices that are very reasonable for the island. The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel genuinely welcome. Our room was spotless, with strong air conditioning that kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The shower had reliable hot water- perfect after a day of exploring. The Wi-Fi signal was consistently strong across the property. They also have a small pool next to the bar, a lovely touch for unwinding in the evenings. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Camiguin. We’ll definitely be back!"

Balai sa Baibai

Balai sa Baibai

10/10 Excellent
"By Philippines standards, a nice resort on Camiguin Island. Nice layout with green space. Friendly and efficient staff. Food was very good. Room was clean, soundproof, with a nice outdoor bathroom. On the negative side - the eaves do not extend far enough out with respect to the bathroom, so you can get splashing from the rain within the bathroom. Toilet can get wet, along with part of the floor. Note there is construction next door right now. Did not really bother us as we were out 3 of the 4 days we were there. I would stay here again because overall it was a nice spot, nice layout, and friendly staff."

"The room and grounds were very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Being vegan, I didn’t have any difficulty eating meals at the resort’s restaurant, and the food is very good. The resort is very quiet which can be a positive or negative, depending on what you’re looking for. There don’t much within walking distance, but town is a short trike ride away. The wifi signal was weak at times."

CAMIGUIN LANZONES RESORT

CAMIGUIN LANZONES RESORT

10/10 Excellent
"Small, resort, nice rooms, very quiet for being off the main street. There's 2 restaurants next to the property, the tuna belly at either place is good. Small stores close for water-etc. Room has refrigerator, big house has microwave. Staff there is great, always helpful, always nice. Deffinately coming back to see the finished extra rooms, there's construction but somehow it's still quiet! Deffinate good choice for staying in camiguin!"

4 tips to find a great Camiguin hotel deal

  1. Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Camiguin is during March, April, and September, when hotel rates are reduced. International travellers should aim to book their flights at least three months in advance for better deals, while domestic travellers can secure lower prices by booking at least one month ahead. For a budget-friendly getaway, a stay of at least 3-4 days is recommended to fully experience the island's stunning attractions, which include beautiful islands, majestic volcanoes, and relaxing hot springs. Visiting Camiguin offers great value for money, making it an ideal destination for those on a budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: If you're seeking a spontaneous getaway, last-minute deals to Camiguin can be an excellent choice for a budget-friendly staycation. To explore these offers on Hotels.com, head to the DealsOpens in a new window or Last-Minute DealsOpens in a new window section, where you could find reduced rates on nearby hotels as your travel date approaches. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications from Hotels.com to keep informed about flash sales and exclusive promotions, helping you snag the best hotel deals available.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. As a result, being flexible with your travel dates could mean you might save on hotel expenses in Camiguin.
  4. Consider your location: Staying in the heart of major cities in Camiguin can undoubtedly provide unmatched convenience, as you'll find yourself close to local attractions and vibrant culture. However, this prime location often comes with a higher price tag. In contrast, smaller towns and rural areas are more likely to offer affordable accommodation options, allowing you to save on lodging costs. For those looking for budget-friendly rates, opting for hotels outside the city centre tends to be a more economical choice, although it may involve a bit more travel to reach key sights. Balancing convenience with cost can help ensure a memorable trip without breaking the bank.
