"Great people. The room was very functional - good black-out curtains, everything was there… though during construction supervision was lacking and spills not cleaned - this gave tiling and some walls an unclean-look. It was clean, just spilled mortar etc permanently stained the area. For me, it was brilliant. Walked to the NP for the 6am opening and really the area is safe and people around friendly (if you are)."

"The hotel is in a good location. The bed was comfortable and clean. Fixtures and fittings are a bit dated and could use a refurb - especially the bathrooms. There was a strong smell on cigarette smoke on the floor and rooms, which i mentioned to housekeeping and was advised a guest might have been smoking, but it was more that than. Generally, this was good comfortable hotel and it was decent value for the price."

"This is a true 5 star hotel . All the staff are so well trained . Nothing is too much trouble. We stayed 3 nights and did not get bored . We ate all our meals at the hotel at Stanley Terrace and enjoyed everything we had . The view from the Terrace is amazing . The pool area is beautifully designed and not too busy . We saw many animals in the grounds and beyond."
