Amazing staff and facility.
I have visited Ho Chi Minh over the past eight years, and each time, I have stayed at a hotel near my family home. However, on this visit, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Suite Saigon because it presented many upsides, like proximity to the airport, free shuttle bus from and to, and a superb large pool! The staff was outstanding. They constantly reached out to see if they could make my trip more enjoyable. I found a gem in this hotel and plan to book with them next year.

The beds were ok, at least they didn't sink! Hallways to the rooms had a weird musky smell and it was really hot. We were in room 1508. Seemed clean for the most part in the room except for some grimy corners and the ceiling under the ac vent. Speaking of ac we set the temperature to 16 C but it never broke past 24 C which is pretty warm for my liking to be sleeping. After taking a shower I would feel hot in the room so the ac temperature was way too hot in general. I felt like there was no point to even be able to adjust the temperature. Pool looked nice but we never used it. Service staff seemed tentative and nice. There was construction outside the building leading to the 7/11 so it was of a hassle to get to it after hours. The rooms aren't sound proof and the curtains let in a lot of light even though it's fully closed. The AC was the biggest issue tbh. Also the bathroom doors just doesn't make sense at all and seemed like so much of a hassle to deal with since it slides with the bathroom and the closet. You might smack someone in the face coming out the bathroom if they're grabbing something.

Fantastic Hotel
It was amazing! Large sized rooms; kitchenette with plates, cutlery, coffee pod machine, kettle & microwave. Large bathroom with seperate bath and shower. Fantastic breakfast with large variety of choice. Restaurant offers lunch and dinner & room service is also an option. There is a 7-11 next door, a BBQ House Restaurant downstairs. Free shuttle to airport-a scheduled service. Lovely and extremely helpful staff. Great gym and pool facilities. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend.
