We were moved after spending the first of four nights at this hotel. First room was a dump with a circa 1930's toilet that sounded like a jet plane and bathtub that was dark, and windows that didn't block out street noise. This review is based on the second room which was spacious with a beautifully laid out bathroom with generous shower enclosure, power blackout blinds, comfortable bed but pillows could be better. The room did not have enough electrical outlets, no coffee machine, no complimentary water, which I expected based on the price paid. It did have a good breakfast for a European hotel with a wonderful view from the rooftop restaurant. However the extra charge for a cappuccino was the first I have experienced over 30 hotels I have stayed in in Europe. Not sure why they feel compelled to do this. The hotel is in close proximity to Plaka and other popular sites. Staff are pleasant, especially Nicholas at front desk who was kind enough to move us to a better room and extend our check-out time.
