Perfect location!
It was a wonderful hotel, the location was perfect and the accommodations were exactly what we expected. The only downside to the whole stay was that our heat was not working that well on the last night so it was a little bit chilly on our room.

Comfortable hotel in a great location
Great location and an easy walk to many sights. A very comfortable hotel with a large room and comfortable bed. A better price point than the many boutique hotels, which allows for more of your vacation money to be spent on the incredible dining options in Charleston!

3 day stay
The staff was excellent in answering all our questions regarding dinner plans, parking, general information regarding Charleston, and more. They helped us with every need from providing a shower cap to quickly fixing a heating concern. Items for thought: the bathtub water faucet was loose, the bathroom floor was not vacuumed, and once the oatmeal ran out there was no more.

Hampton off Meeting Street
Had a great trip! This hotel is close to everything! The room was spacious and clean. Slept great on the bed. The bathroom was clean and had enough counter space for everything! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice location, ask for a courtyard room
We really appreciated the location of the Hampton Inn. The grounds were nice and breakfast plentiful. When we arrived they ‘upgraded us’- which we paid more for to a room with its window against the parking garage. Room 225 - Very dark, and right above the air conditioners so noisy. The next day we moved to 136 on the courtyard side with a view of the pool and 2 chairs and table. Very nice until 6am when the sprinkler hits the door/window as it rotates every few seconds. You can tell this has been like this for awhile as the door was swelled shut, but with some muscle we were able to use it and sit outside our room in the evening. Overall thought our upgrade was unusual since was such a poor choice of rooms. Some people may love that but not us. Staff was good. Breakfast staff was excellent.
