Not my best experience
I would stay again but sad that Hotels.com advertised that the pool was open and when I got there it was under construction. Also, everything went well until it was time to check out. There were people waiting to be helped and the guy at the front desk was too busy texting his housekeeper. He was extremely rude.

Safety issues
The room was very nice but the property entrance was a bit spooky at night with a couple of homeless people hanging around. The property just didn’t feel as safe as we’d expect.

Not bad for the price but not a great area
The room was fine in size, but not all the outlets worked, and the area is very iffy. It is next to a bus terminal and overlooks a semi-bad neighborhood.

Charged for parking but no parking available
The room was spacious. The front desk was very busy but friendly when checking in. Our biggest issue was the parking situation. Not only were we charged $30 for parking. The parking garage was less than ideal! It wad very narrow, making it very hard to maneuver around it. (My husband is a very experienced driver and used to drive commercial trucks) And to make matters worst, there was no parking. When I called the front desk I was advised to park across the street at the outdoor parking lot but we would have to move our car by 7am. They advised us to get up in the middle of the night and check for garage parking availability. How does that even make sense?! You are literally charging us for parking that you can't even guarantee. Very very disappointed

Outstanding service, beautiful hotel!
We evacuated from hurricane Milton and had an awful experience at a different hotel so we moved to this one which had great ratings. We see why! We loved it here. From the customer service to the room to the entire hotel and amenities, I am so glad we moved to this place to wait out the hurricane. The team was so nice and accommodating. We ended up extending our stay a night and even that was easy and flawless. They have a free colonial breakfast which included waffle makers to make your own and my kids loved them! They had a full dining room both mornings and had no problem keeping up with the big crowd. The room was beautiful and fully stocked with kitchen stuff (silverware, dishes, coffee maker, etc). The kids loved it so much. I would definitely stay here again and look to stay in any Hilton Home hotel from here on out.

Stay during hurricane Milton
My husband and I stayed here with our small dog during Milton. The room was spacious and we appreciated the full size fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The staff at the front desk and in the breakfast area were very accomodating during a very stressful time. We did lose power for about 12 hours they worked very hard to have it restored and the generator was a blessing.

6/10 Good

The hotel is exceptionally clean and located in a prime area, making it highly convenient for both tourists and business travelers. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas meets acceptable standards, but there is a noticeable issue with understaffing. As a result, service can be slow, and requests for assistance or additional amenities may take much longer than expected. Furthermore, there are some concerns regarding the training and professionalism of the staff. Guests may encounter issues such as being mistakenly charged twice, particularly if the reservation was made online. Additionally, those looking to extend their stay could face complications due to the staff’s lack of familiarity with certain procedures. In summary, while the hotel’s cleanliness and location are strong positives, the service experience may be hindered by insufficient staffing and a need for better staff training.

The hotel itself was nice. Except pool and all outdoor space was closed because they seem to be doibg srucco work on that side of the building and didnt tell ppl beforehand. We drove a toyota highlander and had no trouble in the parking garage. Sucked it was $30 a night, its not like its Disney its a freakin normal hotel. Parking lot across the way costs unless u leave by 6am. Hotel has 19 floors. I was on 9th facing train station didnt hear it much. Maybe slight every so often kinda like a soft low rumble of thunder. Breakfast was good, loved the sausage, buscuits and gravy, and fritatas. We were there 4 nights never saw donuts for breakfast like in photos. Saw a sign not to put donuts in the toaster.lol so i guess they have them sometime. Everything was clean. Hotel was very cold though. Hallways are set at like 67 degrees. But i would stay here again. Nice hotel just wouldn't walk the neighborhood its middle of downtown near a bus depot and train station with a lot of homeless and such. Parking garage is gated.
