The Motel was clean and the pool was very nice. The rooms could benefit from a bit of a refresh but honestly when you're at the beach, you're not in the room except to sleep - which was good.

My family and I stayed at the island breeze motel over 4th of july weekend. The owner greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable we stayed here mostly because we needed a place that would accept our dog, this motel was great for that because it was located just a short walk from the dog beach and close to the boardwalk. I would recommend this place for a short stay.

Dingy and Unkept
Our stay was satisfactory. The property manager was extremely friendly and attempted to be accommodating. However, the room was extremely dirty all along the windowsill. The floor under the beds were filthy. The bathroom towel bar was hanging off the wall by two very
loose screw. The toilet seat was also very loose along with the sink faucet. We were afraid to use it for fear it would come apart and we'd have a flood. The towels and bed sheets were dingy. I know it's a beach motel but surely they can do a lot better to make the accomodations much cleaner and nicer.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and everything was in check. The only thing was the shower was tricky to figure out but eventually worked and there was no laundry that was available to guests. The staff was courteous and the hotel is conveniently placed near the boardwalk.
