Property was good value for money and right in the centre. It is a bit dated and shower is a bit small but good for a few nights sleep. Breakfast is a bonus but not the freshest selection.

Very old, needs updating Bathroom toilet wasnt working and there was a foul smell coming from the washroom Tight shower hard to take a proper shower for taller folk Bathroom had bugs on the floor, towels were stained, walls are paper thin i heard people walking above me very clearly. I broight my complaints to the staff and was basically blown off. I ended ip staying somewhere else and was glad i did.

Really close to the centre with spacious room, comfortable bed and helpful staff. Some work going on, it doesn’t cause disruption, but means you enter through the side rather than the main entrance.

All the basics you need in a perfect location. Staff friendly and helpful with excellent English support. Front desk open all day. Air conditioning. Small basic room, clean with wifi, TV and private bathroom. Had a tiny balcony for standing only. Apart from some construction in the morning, the room was quiet, even so close to the main areas. Single towel with exchange every couple days. Rooms appear to be converted from a normal apartment building. You'll need to get used to some quirks. You'll get a physical key rather than key card. For the electricity to work, you need to realize there is a small keyhole in the wall near the door and the key needs to be inserted and turned to activate the electricity. Since the lights don't work until this is done, the door needs to be closed, locked with the key in the dark room, and the keyhole found and the key inserted and turned, also in the dark. Threw me off at first, but I soon got the hang of it. The light from a cell phone is enough to easily see for doing this. Other quirks include figuring out how to flush the toilet. Likely standard in the area, but simply pushing the button to flush the toilet did not work. It was required that the button be repeatedly pumped in quick succession, and then everything worked very fine with no problems at all. Still, this took even longer to figure out. If you don't mind a few quirks, and are looking for a basic and reasonably priced room right right in center of the old town, quite good.

Excellent location, just off Via Maqueda. Everything is walkable in Palermo. Lots of great bars and restaurants nearby. Our room was basic but clean - aircon good but a bit noisy. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very basic - meat, cheese, tomato and lots of sweet pastries. Ask for a cappuccino- its much better than the jug thats on the buffet table. We think for the price we paid, the hotel was great- would definitely stsy here again.

Air Conditioner was very loud and noisy, making it very difficult to sleep. Bathroom sink and shower both were backing up with water, very difficult to brush teeth and take a shower. When asking for a room change they would accommodate us nor provide any compensation. The location of the hotel is difficult to find.

4/10 Fair

The hotel itself is in a super location. You can get anywhere and you’re right on Via Machere which is one of the most vibrant main roads in Palermo. It is near Fontana Pretoria and I 4 canti, which are historical points. I gave a low score because air con was not working in full summer season and we could barely sleep, when we got moved to a different room air con was working fine but after a while the machine would start making unbearable noises that woke us up and we couldn’t fall back asleep so we had to switch it off. Room was opposite washing machines so early in the morning we would hear not only cleaning ladies loudly chatting in the corridors but also these massive machines doing the washing. Showers were mouldy but functional. If it had not been for the air con and the morning noise I would have scored 5 even if not super clean. I am a Spartan soul so for the price I think the cleanliness was ok. But air con in a very hot part of Italy in full summer is a MUST and it did impact our holiday as we were constantly tired. Other than that it has all you need.

Excellent location and very close to the parking lot where you can park your car for €25 per day. The hotel is very secure and clean, rooms are small but comfortable. The big problem is that there is no heating in the rooms, I was freezing under two covers. The A/C unit is just for cooling and thank God, we didn’t need it as it was working like an old farm tractor and would be impossible to sleep under that noise. The unit was never cleaned, I guess. When the neighbor opens the shower, you can hear it in your room. In general, the hotel is not really maintained. The first room we got was spacious, but the shower holder was broken, and the side of the shower stall was coming out of the wall when you try to close the door (and I am not even discussing the rust on the bottom of the shower as it is just an aesthetics issue). The front desk clerk found another room for us with strong walls and shower holder not broken, but on the first try, as soon as we opened the water, the shower head turned up and sprayed the bathroom wall next to the shower. The clerk said the room service will check it. “The room service” was the cleaning lady. She checked and told us that we “should hold the shower head in our hand, not use the holder”. I wonder why the holder was there in the first place. The breakfast was The breakfast was good on the first day, the second day croissants were “a second day freshness”, soggy...
