Desk clerks unhelpful and rude
Desk staff was rude. Valet couldn't be found and when asking for service, clerk argued that valet was out there. She herself went out and couldn't find them. She insisted that we leave our car running, and come back for ticket after valet was found. Didnt agree and she got even more rude. Horrible customer service.

One night out
We took the train into the city for an overnight stay. Although we didn’t request it when we booked, we called and were able to check in early, which was a great relief on a cold Chicago day! Each bed has two firmer pillows and two very soft pillows, so you can stack them according to your comfort level. The bathroom had a separate enclosure for the toilet on one side and the shower on the other. It was interesting and unusual, but could allow people to share the bathroom comfortably. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave. So, bringing food back to the room meant opting for sandwiches and salads that could be eaten cold. Overall though, we had a great stay. We’ll have to add this to our preferred list for future visits to the city!

The hotel is functional, it feels a bit worn, the elevators give a bad first impression carpets looked worn felts unclean, that said I met cleaners every day cleaning them. the hotel feels a bit worn. That said it's a good location and not sky high price wise, I had a view of the back of the hotel

Great hotel at great price
This was a very reasonable hotel. Comfortable beds. Great location for shopping and theater. Valet parking is ridiculously expensive but able to get reasonable parking down the street on SpotHero. Staff was very friendly. Spacious rooms. Noisy neighbors with thin walls only downfall

Great Getaway
Our family had a wonderful short stay at Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago! We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Turkey Trot, and it exceeded our expectations. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown Chicago, making it easy to walk to iconic landmarks like Millennium Park and the Art Institute. The hotel’s central position made exploring the city a breeze, and the nearby public transportation options gave us even more freedom to check out Chicago’s diverse neighborhoods. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean, modern, and comfortable—perfect for our family’s needs. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this hotel is a gem. We left feeling like we’d truly experienced Chicago like locals and would happily stay here again!
