Good stay in Nancy at the BW within walking distance from the train station and to Place Stanislas. Updated lobby and room, though small was clean, quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast, though we also took cheaper coffee and croissants options nearby.

We do not always stay in hotels but we had horrible experience with another housing option in town. We could not stay there for three more nights so I made quick reservation on Expedia and we went right to the hotel. It was only 10 in the morning but we had not had a lot of sleep. Checkin was not til 4. Staff was very kind and let us chill in lobby and got us room by one which was incredibly appreciative. Thanks so much.

Une expérience client décevante du début à la fin

Nous avons séjourné une nuit (samedi à dimanche) au Best Western Plus Crystal à Nancy et ce sera la dernière. Dès notre arrivée, l’accueil a donné le ton : personne à la réception, le seule employé présent était occupé au téléphone et semblait nous ignorer. L’enregistrement, malgré une réservation déjà effectuée en ligne, a été d’une lenteur insupportable. On m’a contraint à remplir une fiche inutile sur un écran tactile minuscule, en qwerty (!), peu réactif, avec des questions intrusives comme les raisons de mon séjour. Tout cela sous le regard d’un personnel froid et peu aimable. Le lendemain, j’ai pris seul le petit déjeuner car ma femme, malade, n’a pas pu sortir de la chambre. Lors du départ, j’ai demandé si le petit déjeuner non consommé pouvait être déduit. Refus catégorique, sans aucune considération ni geste commercial, de la part du même personnel désagréable. Nous avons été clients réguliers de cet hôtel, mais le niveau de service et d’attention à la clientèle s’est effondré au fil des années. C’est bien dommage, car les chambres restent agréables. Nous ne reviendrons plus et ne le recommandons pas (plus).
