4/10 Fair

Simply disgusting.
There are only two good things about this hotel. Playa Norte and Malecon are just across the street. The rooms are so unpleasant with nonexistent WIFI and rarely warm water. Also, there is a bar just across the street that plays the loudest music until 3 AM. We regretted we booked and paid for 4 nights at this hotel. Was not possible to sleep. The owner could have done something about that. Maybe talking to the bar people and asking them to turn the music down. I would not recommend this hotel to the worst enemy.

2/10 Poor

The hotel is NOT dog friendly at all. When we arrived the guy told us that he doesn’t accept dogs but because he had close to nobody in the hotel he agreed to let us stay the night. He charged us extra (which is fine) but asked us to keep our dog in a cage - which is NOT ok for a supposedly dog friendly hotel and NOT ok when we pay extra for our dogs (which we happily do as we ALWAYS travel with our dogs) He gave us a room close to the septic tank, where the shower was not working (water was cold, and when it was finally warm (never hot), the pressure was ridiculous) The bed are so hard it feels like you are sleeping on the floor, he made a big deal about our dogs but the beds were full of sand. The hotel is across the beach but also across the bars so you can hear the music until 3am - didn’t really bother us but good to know if you are looking for quiet. The TV is also not working - again we didn’t care about this, but if you are hoping to relax with some TV forget it. We really didn’t like the fact that the guy keep telling us that he didn’t like our dogs and told us what to do with them each time we crossed his path. The staff is the unfriendliest ever and that’s all we do : travelling This was really a bad experience

really charming owner and great Indian food
this is an older hotel in a good spot with view of malecon and ocean on horizon, as shown in thumbnail picture. Room is small but adequate for an overnight. staff are very nice and friendly. the star of the show is the restaurant. against all odds, we had probably the best chicken masala anywhere and the lamb kabobs were heavenly. the very nice chef also fixed us an indian breakfast, fab roti and a chicken potato curried thing, very tasty and filling. the owner was friendly and has great plans for the neighborhood. in all a surprisingly great stop

The best hotel experience in Ciudad del Carmen!!!
The hotel and staff are very professional and very friendly... 5 star service. Everyone at the hotel is super-friendly. They are always willing to go above and beyond for all of their guests. Raju and staff make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. The restaurant and bar is on the second level of the hotel... the food and drinks are first class.. originally I only intended to stay for 3 days, but my experience was so nice , I extended my stay for several more days.

I travel with to exespenive laptops
I decided i wanted to grab a bite to eat across the street, so i told the front desk reception, i was going for a walk. He said, "ok". So i walk about 150 feet i look back and he is staring at me.So i go behind a building out of his view, when i looked back he was no longer there. I decided then I was not going to to eat , I was going make my way back to my room. When I enter the hotel, there was no reception, i make my way to my room as i am bout to unlock the door he opens it from the inside coming out, I get in a verbal altercation with him , i feel totally violated and i dont feel safe i had to push the bed in front of door, i was affraid to tell anyone until the morning being in a foreign country and all. I talked to the owner in the morning he was nice but did not offer me a refund for the night. even though it ruined my night by being trapped in a room without food or drinking water and afraid to leave .I WOULD TOTALLY AVOID THIS PLACE FOR THAT REASON ALONE. stick with a big chain hotel in this city

Convenient pet friendly hotel
This is a great value small hotel with an excellent location. We were just looking for a quiet pet friendly hotel within walking distance to the beach. That's exactly what we found. The hotel restaurant has good food and is a good value as well.
