Excellent bus service, £10 a day for on-off all buses, a great way to see the island, I went on 6 buses during the day. Ferries to Herm, Sark and Alderney 👍

The best thing about St. Peter Port were the sea bathing pools which were close to la Vallett underground museum, also worth a visit. They had beach Sunday whilst we were there which pedestrianises the seafront with stalls and places to eat

Maison Crepe has lovely views of harbour, and getting around the island with buses is super easy, or the hotel cab order you a taxi very quickly too. St James Hall has lovely concerts. Recommend checking what is opened during Winter as museums closed

A lovely old bustling clean town, with very friendly people. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Parts of the town are very steep and you need to be fairly fit and able if you like to walk to explore.

Shame to see so many empty units and very few people around on a Saturday, but the pubs and restaurants seemed to be busy.

"All of the staff at the Duke of Normandie were incredibly friendly and extremely helpful which is a brilliant combination and makes your stay even more enjoyable and completely hassle free. Thank you "
"From arranged pick up from the airport to going home was faultless. The hotel was spotless in all areas. The staff were most helpful at all times, cheerful and willing to please. The breakfasts were well prepared and staff were very efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Chris on reception was a master class. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and a great asset to the hotel. We ate in both restaurants. The Mexican themed one again well catered for with large portions of food. The staff were again willing to please. These were same staff seen in the breakfast areas. The steak hot stone restaurant I found to be a bit disappointing although staff again willing to please. On a personal note I would of preferred to have my steak cooked and then presented. My wife's fish was ok but the dish appeared confused especially she had two hot stones that never maintained their heat. Overall I would rate this hotel as one we would return to. The whole hotel outlook was excellent too especially from our room. Well done to all."
